you said something about stearing between petrol and diesel; diesels engines are heavier then petrol, so in petrol versions you have better weight distribution (less kg), so it affects better on stearing
@@GFB280 to be totally honest I'm a little underwhelmed. I have had a couple issues in the first 10k miles, and the ride quality has degraded significantly. I've got something weird going on with my front end that they've yet been able to remedy. Car doesn't feel good over 80mph. Loud, unstable, not what I anticipated out of my honeymoon stage with 120k+ vehicle. Will not be returning to BMW for my next luxury vehicle. Second one in a row that has had issues. I'm done!
Correct me, if I want a fast GT with awesome exhaust note and better back seat comfort (for 2), then M850i rather than M5. GOT IT. Since I dont track my cars, I guess M5 & M5 comp are much harsher riding & I'd be paying for the prestige...and this looks better than M550i. Only concern in M850i is its ability to hold value...M5 will hold value better.

But if you are shoving it down the ears of people who don't want it, then don't be surprised if they call you a wanker.

@@photosmithy honestly -- no. I was in town today doing Christmas shopping and some superproles with an Audi R8, an AMG Merc and some BMW made so much noise that they dominated everything. The occasional loud car is no prob but things have got really bad. It used to be just morons with Harley's in the summer, but now it's all-year.
Yes. If you want pollute air and noise, be relatively slow, unreliable, depreciate a lot.... Get a car like this. 👎 PS. And be hugely expensive to run.
