Your story about the person giving her stitching away. The same thing happened to me. An ad was in my local group saying box of free cross stitch. She had a picture of 1 small box. I messaged her said I would like it. I go there and her elderly mom was an avid stitcher and had to go to assisted living and couldn't stitch anymore. I get there she has tubs of stitching all hard to find stuff and tubs of linens. She gave it all to me. Then she calls me back and says I found more. Tubs of every floss and buttons, hoops, charms etc. I couldn't believe I was so lucky to receive such a wonderful collection of stuff. She had projects she started that I am finishing just wonderful stuff. I called her 3 times to say I appreciate it so much and let her mom know. I was certainly a very lucky stitcher. Love your videos every time I watch I see something else I want!
Hi my friend, I love to see your retreat projects. They are so pretty. I can’t believe you bought only one fabric at the attic? I bought more, even I wasn’t there 😂 Your silks are gorgeous. The Soie d‘alger will be so beautiful. Your Dutch Beauty is amazing 😍. Love Mrs Campbell. The school house sampler is very pretty. And the Quaker Sampler also. The 46 count and the 32 count fabrics are beautiful. Hugs, Bettina

Mrs. Campbell and schoolhouse sampler looks like something I'd like to stitch. The fabrics all are beautiful. Thanks for offering 32 count, 46 count and Kingston 56 count.
I'm 74 and over the years I have also been buying finished & unfinished cross stitch pieces. I display those that are finished and have always intended on finishing the unfinished ones. But other crafts & sewing kept me busy so I didn't start doing cross stitch until this last August. To date I have completed 4 large projects and 6 smalls. mrs campbell, red schoolhouse sampler, quaker sampler, 46 count, 56 count & 32 count
I love the Oh Christmas Tree design you are finishing. I have always loved Told In a Garden! I too rescue cross stitch from thrift stores. Made several into project bags. At home recovering from total knee replacement surgery, your flosstube really brightened my Thursday morning. Quaker sampler, schoolhouse sampler, Mrs. Campbell, 32 count. Have a blessed week Stacey!!
I have been given a friend's stash when her eyes and hands would no longer do what she wanted them to do. You're right: sad, but what an honor. And a stitched piece from them is the cherry on the top! Having 32, 46 or 56 count fabric would be fantastic!
It has been a delight to watch your videos. Your passion for cross stitch is amazing and makes it so fun to watch. 46 count wheat, 56 count cream and 32 count bellini and red school house.
Hello Stacy, great video again, love Samplers! Thanks for taking time to share your love of cross stitch with us. Hope you have lots of fun at your next retreat! Thank you for being so generous with your charts and fabric. I would enjoy school house and 32 count fabric.
The retreat sounds wonderful. All the projects are beautiful! Mrs. Campbell and schoolhouse would be wonderful stitch projects. I loved your video! Happy stitching!!
I received stitching materials from a neighbour when her eyesight deteriorated. I finished a couple of her things and was very happy that I was able to show her my finishes before she suddenly passed away. It makes them very special. But your samplers are beautiful. Especially the Quaker sampler. I would stitch that one on 32 ct.
Very happy to hear you are fully recovered from your surgery! Looking forward to seeing your future FFOs. It is sad when a stitcher has to give up the hobby or passes away and her/his projects end up at a thrift store. Luckily, some are rescued. I was privileged enough to receive such a rescue from one of my coworkers. She found one, framed it, and gave to me this past Christmas.. The highest count I can stich is 40. The 32 count looks beautiful. Susan Weber from Texas.
Love that you were able to rescue that lady’s stitching. Can’t wait to see the Lavender and Lace O Christmas Tree finished and framed. Love the Lila’s Studio A Quaker Welcome and can see it done on the 46 Count Winter Wheat. I love stitching Quaker motifs.
First time viewer here and what a joy your video was. I just retired and am focused on completing all my unfinished projects so they don’t end up in garage sales or antiques shops half done. Your story really resonated with me! I thought the red school chart would be something I could stitch so thank you. Hope you enjoy your next retreat! All my best.
So jealous of your Sampler Retreat at the Attic. What beautiful things you have kitted and ready to go. I have never tried 46 count or 56 count, but I’m willing to try. Like you, 32 count is my go to. Such a breeze to work on. Schoolhouse, Mrs. Campbell, and Quaker would be gorgeous on any of those fabrics. No time to waste. Get stitching! 🤣
It breaks my heart the lady couldn't see no more to cross stitch and so wonderful that you rescued her Christmas Tree project. It should definitely hold a place of honor on your wall. The red schoolhouse sampler and the quaker sampler are two patterns I would like in my collection. Thank you for another great floss tube video.
I'm glad you were able to save the Christmas Tree chart. It is a beautiful chart. I'm interested in the Mrs. Campbell chart, the Quaker Sampler chart, and the 32 ct fabric. Thank you for offering these great products. I love watching you, because you are so cheerful and give so much information about cross stitching. Have a safe trip.
Loved spending time with you today. So glad you enjoyed the retreat. It’s wonderful that you’re completing that beautiful project to honor that woman’s love of stitching. I work in geriatrics and it is heartbreaking when a crafty person can no longer participate. Mrs Campbell, the Schoolhouse sampler and the Quaker sampler have all been on my wishlist! I have progressed to 40 count recently, but would LOVE to try 46 or 56 count linen.
Gosh I love your enthusiasm about really everything. My heart also saddens when I see old hand stitched items in a thrift store. I hope you'll have enough room to add the border on the right hand side. Love the book you took and I zipped right over to Amazon and ordered it. The 32 count fabric looks wonderful.
Hi Stacy! Oh, Christmas Tree is beautiful! It touched my heart that you were in the right place at the right time to save it and planning to finish it in her honor. I know she will be happy to see/know it has been finished. The 32 count is beautiful! Have a great day!
Such a beautiful token to not only finish the Santa but display it year round. That is surely a wonderful way to honor that lovely woman's heart. I am always touched by your kindness, I can't wait to see the next Sampler video, I just picked up King Solomon's Mine chart this weekend (reproduction) from a freebie table at a retreat I attended. I am interested in 46 count and 32 count fabrics.
I recently rescued a Lavender and Lace Angel from a thrift store. It is about 2/3 done. My goal is to finish it and frame it. I love the red schoolhouse sampler and would love to stitch it. The Quaker sampler is beautiful too. So glad you had a great time at The Attic and I look forward to your next video. 😊
Mrs. Campbell is a gorgeous sampler and I also adore Quaker samplers. I have never stitched on 46 count or 56 count but would love to try. I am also most comfortable stitching with 32 count and love the color you showed. I love that you rescued O Christmas Tree and the lady that stitched it would be thrilled to know that it has gone to a loving home.
I have a 91 year old friend who still does English paper piecing. I know how sad she would be to no longer be able to do her stitching, so it's wonderful that you were able to rescue that woman's treasures. Going to the Attic is one of my dreams -- what an experience you were able to have. 36 count is my sweet spot and I frequently work on 40, so I'd love to try my hand on 46 count or 56 count!
The stitch you saved is well worth finishing! Beautiful!! You rock! I am interested in the Mrs Campbell chart. It is wonderful. I am interested in the School House Sampler. I am also interested in the Quaker Sampler. The high count fabrics are beautiful but I am not ready for that yet. I am interested in 32 count fabric. Thank you for your always informative FlossTube videos.
At one time I had that Lavendar and Lace pattern, then saw a framed model and couldn't believe how large it was! But so so beautiful. So very glad you rescued it.
Wow love all the sampler loveliness! Appreciate the retreat recap and so happy that wonderful needlework piece ended up in a good home where it will be appreciated.

Hello Stacy, you are so enthousiastic! I love "Mrs. Campbell" and also the Quaker sampler. 46 and 56 count fabric is a nice try for these samplers. Thank you and have fun with stitching!
I’m so glad that you had a good time at the retreat. My daughter and I went to one over Halloween weekend and it was HORRIBLE. The lady who was running the event, never said hi to us or introduced herself, even after I checked in. I donated a very nice large project bag and she didn’t thank me. Food was so bad that my daughter and I left to get something to eat. It was such a waste of time and money to go to this event. Just awful
Your enthusiasm for cross stitch is fabulous. Love seeing the samplers and the Christmas tree piece you are going to save. I would be interested in the schoolhouse pattern since I taught middle school for 32 years.
My mom went to a little red schoolhouse called Sassafras school. Eight grades in one room! I love the Quaker and think it would look great on the 46 count fabric. Love seeing all your beautiful work and joy in stitching. Thanks for sharing your work.
Red School house, Mrs. Campbell are both beautiful charts! I just loved seeing your samplers and hearing about the Attic adventure. Thanks for great content and I am so happy your arm is almost back to working well. I would love to try 46 count fabric. 56 count, holy cow. I'll give it a try. My go to is 32 count just like you! How wonderful that you have fabric to share.
Hi Stacey, I really enjoyed spending some time with you today, your stitching is just beautiful and I love to hear your plans, 32ct fabric would be a lovely addition.
I enjoyed seeing your samplers in progress. Mrs. Campbell is a sampler I admire so much. I have not yet stitched a red schoolhouse, or 32 count fabric.I have started a Quaker sampler.
Saving the stitcher's beautiful piece is a heartwarming story. I hope you do find out her name. She would be so happy. I, too, love 32 count fabric. I would like to try 46 count. My favorite kind of sampler is the Quaker sampler. What a fun video, your joy is contagious.
I love an old school house, as both my parents lived in the country and attended a one room school house. The one is still standing and I would see it on our way to grandma's house. I am very fond of Quaker samplers I am working one and I love it.
Congratulations on your efforts to save the beautiful work of others! I am a great fan of the Quaker sampler and loved your sampler parade. Thank you for sharing your love of stitching with your fans!

Always such a joy to watch you Stacy! Glad you were able to rescue such a lovely piece. I’ve always wanted to go to the attic, but it will have to wait till after I retire in a couple years. I would love the 46, 56 or red schoolhouse.
I love the Christmas tree piece, Stacy. Anything Christmas is always fun, lol. I have that Santa book as well. When I worked at a thrift store no one was interested in buying it and they were going to recycle it so I had to rescue it of course! The 32 ct fabric is beautiful and so is the 56 ct. I hope you and your hubby are well and not affected by the extreme weather conditions where you are.

Very pretty samplers. Glad you had a nice time at the retreat! Mrs. Campbell is so very pretty also. My Mom taught in a one-room schoolhouse and that brings warm thoughts to me when I see that chart. ❤. I don’t believe I could use those higher count fabrics, though I love the colors. I have done 32 count before though successfully. Have a great rest of the month.

Hope you can get to that and finish it so you can get it FFOd before the holidays (it looks like there is a very narrow margin on the fabric). Will look forward to seeing what you do with it! It also makes me sad when I see donated or garage sale cross stitch pieces......I just keep thinking of all the time and talent that went into those items. I am so happy that you gave it a new home and will display it as it deserves. It's amazing how emotional we are about ours and others stitching! Thank you for another great video. I have never done a 46 or 56 but am excited to give it a go!

I am interested in 32 count for Mrs. Campbell. Thanks for saving that stitch of the kids around the tree.
Enjoyed your sampler video! Loved that you are giving a new home to an aging stitchers unfinished pieces, hope one day my stitching goodies end up in the hands of another stitcher. The 32 count , 56 count and 46 count fabric pieces are wonderful!
Love your rescue!! Went to a stitcher who will treasure!

Great flosstube!! Love stitching on Quakers Sampler. Mrs. Campbell lived next door to the Schoolhouse and she didnt mind stitching on 32 count, 46 count or 56 count linen. I love stitching on linen too. Happy stitching

So very touching that you were able to pick items from the older stitcher that means something to you. I am very interested in stitching the 2 schoolhouse for my red stitch dough bowl. Also, I like 3 A Quaker Welcome. Thank you for all you share. Have a great retreat! ♥️✂️🧵🪡♥️

My Mom taught in a one-room schoolhouse and that brings warm thoughts to me when I see that chart. ❤. I don’t believe I could use those higher count fabrics, though I love the colors. I have done 32 count before though successfully. Have a great rest of the month.

The 46 count wheat fabric is beautiful, and I'd love to try it. How wonderful that you were able to save the stitch of the Christmas Tree piece. Hope you can get to that and finish it so you can get it FFOd before the holidays (it looks like there is a very narrow margin on the fabric). Will look forward to seeing what you do with it! The red sampler from Jean is also lovely. Glad you had such a wonderful time at the retreat!

I have the chart and wenn I start with it, I choose darker fabric as you did. I love it. My interest then: schoolhouse red sampler or mrs campbell on 32 count or 46 count.
I hope your friend relays to the lady who gave the stitching away how enthused you were to receive it, and how it will be treasured.
