I open up the old control panel edit my name etc. I looked in setting nothing is install hardly as apps. Cool! Look under all apps all my dell audio software was there. I can't believe how fast this machine is. I reran you Win tool did the tweaks and Edge is really not removed. The key is gone but if you search for Edge it pops up. I have been following you for 4 years I am guessing. You are the best IT person on the Net.

Used it yesterday and I had a small hangup but that was due to another USB being plugged in. If you get "Can't move to the next step" error message.. make sure you have no other USB stick plugged in. The carry over drivers worked great and got it down to 80 processes after Winutil.
I followed your guide(s) to get a Microwin version of win 11 working within qemu. Used a Linux host to create the initial vm, and used that to create the Microwin iso. I will be using this more, just like the rest of Winutil. Along the way several sidequests presented themselves, get virtualization working on the linux host, move images to/from NAS within the virtual machines, reset Nas password. What a way to spend a weekend :)
Chris , I wanted to share with you guys , I tried a preview build of 11 24h2 but it was ver. 2600.1150 or something like that . I got to say whatever is different about it , for some reason it ran amazing using the xml file . This leads me to have even more questions. Why do they stick to certain build numbers that run very crappy even with debloating , then there's other vers. Like this 2600. 1150 that run as smooth as 21h2 , well almost when debloated anyway. Excellent work on the project. I can't wait to use it for this 1150 iso. Thanks again . c.f.

However when I was using microwin to create a windows install I got several lines of code come up on powershell “Could not remove OS package” this happened for 18 lines of code and included FodMetadata, foundation package, powershell, wordpad, steps recorder, media player and a few others and I’m just wondering if this is an issue or if it was intended?

Hey, what's the difference between autounattend.xml and unattend.xml? What happens if I put both files in iso? Does one of them take priority or do they both run?
A great question. unattend.xml only applies to the OOBE (This is the questions you answer on first startup). autounattend.xml applies to the entire setup, example: auto format and go through setup without picking Drive, Windows version, etc.
Hey Cris there an issue with some apps in the script: Sublime Text, Spotify, CrystalDisk Mark, CrystalDisk Info, AIMP, they fail to install and ask for the a user prompt, since i do not have a password set it fails, and the script gets stuck 😊
Does it add the 'open command prompt here" to Explorer? It's a pain to add and is supre useful. It would be nice if CONFIG is stored on my Github account. Thank you.

Meh, I'm installing always all my driver's myself because Windows can't find the all drivers in the right way, it will not find everything what should shipping with your hardware, including bios updates so your way sucks more

Just questioning, why not recommending or playing around with Win 11 IoT Enterprise LTSC (2024) As this seems to be completely bloat free but still a fully functional Windows OS, if you use this OS together with your CTT tool and the wsreset command, i cannot think of a better experience so far. Is it the licensing part maby?
The licensing in the IoT LTSC version is much more simpler than the regular LTSC, and it is also supported for longer (10 years vs 5 years on the regular LTSC).

You don't. You download Windows ISO from MicroDollar and then let MicroWin do its thing and what you end up with is a debloated Windows ISO you can then install.
@@Lindsay0918 You did watch the video, hence your comment. Perhaps run the WinUtil in a powershell as admin and click on the MicroWin tab. Instructions are there. How to get WinUtil? Google Winutil and look for a link that has the name chris titus in it. You should find. Good luck.
@@Lindsay0918 You craft the ISO by downloading the official ISO from Microsoft, and feeding it into Chris's winutil script, from the Microwin tab. Be patient and follow the messages, and you should be fine.
@@TitusTechTalk Well. I created the iso, installed it on my computer and now I'm using it, but Microsoft Edge cannot be removed with winutil tool tweaks. I get an error Registiry Cannot Found Error. so I used BCUninstaller. For now, when the system is turned on, it starts with 88 processes when the system is turned on, it changes between 100 and 140 as the program opens, perfectly optimized.

It’s created using his Windows Utility by supplying the Windows 11 official ISO that you can get for free from Microsoft’s website
So does the Microwin ISO bypass TPM CPU RAM Etc. to install on older pc or u need rufus for that ?

Please keep those 4 removal options. Maybe have them under a dropdown menu called advanced or something.

You could also use the windows utility and choose security updates only. That shouldn't mess up anything that you have
