Congratulations to Evan Nijmeh, the recipient of the Frank D. Smith Under-18 'A' Scholarship Award. The scholarship recognizes a high standard of excellence academically and in hockey.
Evan played competitive hockey in the GTHL for six seasons, playing this past year with the Willowdale Hawks. Off the ice, Evan balanced academics with athletics, maintaining a 91% average while also playing competitive hockey, soccer, tennis, and baseball. Evan is looking to enter the trades in the fall, pursuing a career in HVAC.
