      Thank you Nelson. The old girl should be in pretty good shape when I'm done. For 40 years I'd wake up every morning, go to the barn and milk the cows. Now 2 or 3 times a week I wake up, go to the barn and light the stove then go back to the house for a couple hours and have coffee. A different pace these days.

    I hate it when it gets so cold outside that my shop heater cannot keep up and then it's not really fun to be in the shop. ☕☕🙂

      @@farmerpete I've got one jacket that is actually enjoyable to wear, it doesn't bind up on me anywhere. 🙂🧰

    Hello Pete, thank you 4 showing us the progress on the One Seventy. I was wondering do you know of any "good" step to get on & off easier that doesn't flex the foot platform downward?

    • @farmerpete
      @farmerpete  Год назад +1

      Thanks! I don't know of any good steps but I've been thinking about fabricating something like that.

    You are an interesting farmer, Pete. You change tractor colors somewhat often, the only equipment you are stuck on are your Ford trucks. The 170 will be a nice addition to your fleet. Does the 170 and 185 have live hydraulics and PTO?

    • @farmerpete
      @farmerpete  Год назад +1

      Thanks! The hundred series has "live" but not "independent" PTO. That means you engage the PTO in gear with the power director in neutral then shift the power director into high or low to start moving. Sort of like how you use the hand clutch on a WD45.
