Hi guys good day and hope you are both doing well. Yeah, I am just a new kid on the block in this type of industry (Freight Brokerage), and just want to ask if there's a very good kind of template that can be used as an Introductory letter or profile?
@Freight 360 I`m hesitant to make cold calls on Friday because I feel like people are not looking to start doing any new business on Fridays and are rather looking forward to resting. So considering this, I feel like I`d be wasting my leads by calling them with a lower probability of success. What are your guys' thoughts on this? Thank you!
I’ve been in the business 2 years and my mentors have been in it 20 years + Tuesday-Thursday are the best days. 9-11:30 am and 1:30-2:30 pm in each time zone. Hope that helps!
Both of your points can be true. It really depends on the shipper and type of business they're in. Many have hectic Friday afternoons before being closed over the weekend. Some thought, have very light Friday afternoons and it can be a great time to connect. Especially since most people are pretty upbeat in anticipation of the weekend. I do avoid making prospecting calls on Monday morning though.
What do u say if they tell u for 1000x a week that they don’t want tp change there broker, that they are happy with them, bc they can cov. All there freight, bc carriers are taking anything just to move there truck, bc the market suck!??
@@joeymorningstar2114 Why are you calling them 1000x a week. Personally, I try to keep it 2 calls a week at most. Just tell them you`ll check back in a week or two and move on to the next prospect. And you keep doing that until they slowly warm up to you. As mentioned in previous episodes, it takes up to 8-12 calls to get someone`s business.
This podcast was absolutely amazing for a newbie!!! Keep it up guys and thank you!!
Great tips in this video! Keep it simple, shippers are very busy! Can you please confirm link to the facebook group?

You move on the next prospect. Even in a loose market there are shippers that aren’t happy with their brokers.

When is the last time u called a shipper?
They don’t care about anything, just the money.

I come for Freight 360 and loose interest by the time we get to the topic of freight.
There's a time stamp for the each episode that shows when we begin discussing the main topic. 12:00 for this episode.
