I love making empanadas with tinga next time you make them get maseca and mix it with hot water and it works way better with the maseca then the masa from the stores.....and add lechuga with queso fresco and salsa de guacamole chefs kiss my family loves them blessings to all of you skinny queens!!!❤❤❤
I make these as well but I put the carne inside you guys should try it like that and next time prepare the masa it’s so easy to do and make sure when you press down they are thin so they won’t fall apart
ismael is right it could've been less "doughy" if si amasaran la maza mas and flatten them up more on the tortilla press. but besides that looks great.

They look like sopes with the meat on top. Like an empanada sope baby😁. I understand Elizabeth's husband, if my sope or empanada are too thick with masa, I'm not crazy about them. Next time just press the masa more almost as thin as a tortilla unless you are actually doing sope. Good video 😁

Yummy we make ours with meat inside or crab or fish or chicken along with soflito sazon adobo black pepper olives small can of tomatoe sauce small diced potato’s all in the same pot and then make the empanadas the potatoes you can all so change out and put chopped up hard boiled eggs
They look great, I do mine a little different. I put the cheese and meat inside , then I put sour cream , lettuce, cotija cheese/queso fresco, and salsa on top and they are bomb
These remind me more like enfrijoladas. When I’ve had empanadas the meat and stuff is on the inside. But it still looks delicious so I’m sure it’s good.
