It would take my lecturer at least a week to explain this thing and you did it in less than 3min!!! Wow, you're really gifted and make life so much easier for so many of us!
Because this isn't really an explanation it's just formulaic rote memorization. These are rules that work for simple functions, but they are not exhaustive of all functions that you could want to take a natural log of, throw a trigonometric function into your formula and now someone who just watched this 3 minute video is lost, but presumably this is something your lecturer wants their students to also understand. To actually understand what a logarithm is, and why natural logs behave the way that they do requires a more in depth explanation than solving a few examples using a some basic rules that cover those examples, such rules might be useful if you're just trying to pass a high school math test and are fine forgetting everything when you move on to the next unit, if you aspire to actually use mathematics beyond that level, a deeper understanding of the subject matter than this is required and that's why your lecturer can't just condense it into 3 minutes of examples showing which terms can be canceled out and then move on.
@Beckett Konnor Wow I see this going around, a person says that hacked someones instagram acc and another person (most probably their alt account) says it worked.. I don't think people can get fooled that easily
even the little details like at 1:30 where you didnt finish the top equation until you used it as a reference for the bottom equation so that it was obvious what you where doing. it all makes it very clear. i cant tress enough how high quality these videos are and how much you work helps me. thank you.
Just want to send out some love man! Math test tomorrow and thanks to you and some of your videos I am prepared and what took my teacher 2 or 3 weeks to teach the rest of the class took me 30 minutes!!!
Peace of mind can't be bought but could be experience with math. I'm not very good at math, but when I understand some mathematics I feel peaceful and happy.
I don't know why so many people like this video. It is a very poor explanation that fails to explain why anyone would want to learn about natural logarithms. This is rote learning, which may help students get through exams, but it will not allow them to use natural logarithms to solve problems. If you can't use it, then what is the point of learning it?
Can I help you in maths in any way?😔😊In Shaa Allah you'll be good at maths. If you understand it welly then you can achieve it for real. Good wishes.Assalamualaikum.
Bohot acha laga sir ye session dekhkar.. Me Vidya Guru ke sessions se bhi kafi kuch seekha hai.. Unke teachers exam relevant important questions kafi easy methods se karwate hain.
I don't know if you still need the answer to this but I am going to reply just in case anyone has the same problem and checks the replies: It's because the output is multiplies by seven. ln(y)'s output is the power that would make e equal y. So if we multiply that power by 7 (let's assume the output is x) the output instead becomes 7x. We know what e^x=y so e^7x must be equal to y⁷. That is the reason that 7 becomes the power.
I recently came across this concept... But wasn't to able to understand it clearly,I watched some Yt videos., but still couldn't get that.. But you explained it in just around 3mins! Thanks.
For logs anything that goes up exponentially which is usually 10 so the ritcher scale, ph scale, things like that. The e and ln are for things like the degration of radioactive isotopes, specific interests and things like that
You deserve an award for best teacher on planet Earth. Your videos aren't long and boringly boring ( I know boringly isn't a word grammar Karens) and they turn even seemingly difficult equations to the easiest 🥺👌🏾. Thank you so much, you've been my saving grace in school
Thank you! I'm headed to my math exam now. My professor is a mean something else (no really, I'm not just saying this, but I'm not gonna expose her or what she told us).

This video should be at the very top of "when to use log vs ln" -- simple and to the point explanation. Thank you exactly what I was looking for.

I really don't understand the necessity for log/ln. For real world scenarios, how would you use log and ln? When do we use e = (about) 2.718?
measuring earthquakes for example; the richter scale uses logs. i asked this too lol
The ln function is also uses in rocket equations.
Depreciation in the price and values of houses and cars etc. also the exponential growth of animals, bacteria, etc.
without logarithms, cell phones wouldn't have been made.
For logs anything that goes up exponentially which is usually 10 so the ritcher scale, ph scale, things like that. The e and ln are for things like the degration of radioactive isotopes, specific interests and things like that
