The fact she is so beautiful, such a great actress, an Oscar winner and hasn't been cast as the lead in any live action movies just shows the racism in Hollywood. This is why people are going to this movie to show white Hollywood executives that movies with black leads make tons of money again. The Truth is Hollywood hates the fact that diversity sells now because they are going to have cast more people for movies that don't look like them, crusty old white guys.

It's the institutional racism and don't forget het story about that pervert Harvey Weinstein preying on her. Her managing to escape his greasy fat clutches soured the industry towards her a bit.
Sophia N I do blame the directors because many of them have been proven racist and exclusionary. The racist audience doesn't excuse it either because time and time again black films have been enourmously successful. I hate Tyler Perry but his movies make tons of money. Empire is widely successful. So is Insecure and Atlanta. So was Moonlight and Get Out, Hidden Figures, John Boyega's Star Wars movie, Creed, and Black Panther is the most successful Marvel movie in terms of presales. White films with garbage plots that fail over and over and over again still manage to get funding and the actors are still given lead roles and second third and fourth chances. Their excuse for Ghost in the Shell was that they needed some pale face to bring in viewers and it still FLOPPED. The fact of the matter is that black people are the ones spending money on these films and white Hollywood has nothing but weak flimsy excuses for their racist garbage they keep spewing.
@Sophia N You say the industry exists to make what people want to see, but movies with white only casts make much less money than black movies or diverse movies, yet they still make plenty of white only cast movies because it is a white industry with white bias.
