Curtis is a fantastic crowd pleaser! I played drums with him in Saipan and the whole audience moved like water. Best gig I ever played! Thanks Curtis!

Mr. Salgado is one who has changed my outlook on how to do a song justice. He's the total real deal. Hats off to a real Blues Man!

Curtis is a national treasure and we're so fortunate that he hangs his hat in Portland. His resume reads like a who's who in the blues and very cool of him to dedicate this Little Walter tune to monster harp player, songwriter and singer, Paul DeLay...another giant we were so blessed to have as one of our local talents.

This is the sort of blues I've wanted to hear on a Curtis recording for years. To hear this man play harp is a wonderful thing
and his voice fits the music so well.

An abiding memory was seeing, in the Marquee, wardour st, London in 1965. Little Walter, Paul Jones, and Dundee’s godfather of soul Dougie Martin, all three jammin’ together in the narrow passageway leading to the changing room. An amazing sight and astounding playing. Little did they know that Dougie was an outstanding melodic chromatic harmonica player in the style of Larry Adler.

Listen to this man sing and play, pay attention. He has something that many so called blues artis don't. The problem, for me anyway, is he
doesn't make records that sound like this. Along the line Mr. Salgado decided to become a rhythm & soul man, leaving the blues behind. I
don't know, maybe that's where the cash is. Being a Chicago boy, I was fortunate enough to see him play in person a couple of times when
he was still playing the blues. Oh, and in case you're not familiar with it, pick up his cd "More Than You Can Chew", I feel it's Curtis Salgado
    at his finest.

I play harp. Curtis finds notes that aren't even in there
