10/10 my friend! EK and SQ are the best in the sky, at least for me t. From economy to business to first, their services are the best! I haven't tried Cathay Pacific but hoping to travel on it soon! I have heard that Cathay is the best from many people, so got to give it a go!

I don't know Cathay - and won't have a chance to fly to HKG anytime soon :- ( Will fly on Turkish to Istanbul this fall, though - with a respective Flight Report online shortly after ;-)

I watched the previous video first, SIN-CDG first then this after you had told me about it, though watched out of order another great video, been on SQ a few times but looking forward to flying Business Class & experiencing all it has to offer when I next fly long haul.

I really like SQ 1-2-1 seat configuration for business class.

Pit Spielmann , I know that SQ will install new business class seat into their new A380 airplane. Unfortunately, I did plan my vacation this year that I may go to Singapore next year.
Nice video. Thanks for sharing. But I do not understand. How come the airline flew over Black sea. Its bit detour. Compare if the flight flew bit north over South East Ukraine. More fuel and flight time no?

Thanks for your interest. I actually prefer to write the comments and not talk. It may be a bit difficult to follow when things are getting too dense but there are only very few people to get the talking right in their flight reports. I really don't want to get into that ;-))
Ok, I understand. I would love to begin vlogging for my travels, and I was quite interested on how you capture everything; so far I have a Go pro, and as well my Nikon D7000 which has a slot for video. I live in Tilburg, the Netherlands too!
I have three cameras and during a 10 hour fight, I end up with well over 2 hours of video recording plus the still pics. Editing it all into a 12 to 15 minute movie is definitely the biggest challenge. You have to tell a story and stick to it. Far too many people just compile endless (and often redundant) video sequences. I just try to avoid that. Hope it works. ;-)
Awesome but could've been even better if you had pointed your camera up at the cabin crew when they served your meals

Par contre, mon premier vol transatlantique fut en1984 à bord d'un L1011 de la TWA (AMS-JFK). Et il y a 5 ou 6 ans en B767 de Delta (ATL-CDG) en eco, un peu comme un voyage en train ou en bus ;-)
Est-ce-que vous reprendrez Delta?

I was under the impression SQ didn't give out amenities kits
That flight was 3 years ago and maybe they changed sinde.. As indicated in the vid, the kit basically just contained a pair of socks and an eye mask, all other amenities being available in the bathrooms or on request. Actually not such a bad idea, I think. Thanks for watching.

06:35 a bit scary
CDG has two parallel runways in the north and another two in the south. So there is always one used for take off and one for landing - even if the picture could suggest otherwise. So , no worries.
