- The CU-Boulder senior class of 2011 receives a farewell tribute through this video that played at the commencement ceremony on May 6, 2011 in Folsom Field. Though it is a farewell video, it is not farewell for many of us. We are all forever Buffs and the fond memories of our time here will serve as a constant reminder of why CU-Boulder is so great.
Special Thanks to Dirk Martin, the Senior Class Council Erin Westmoreland-King, Katie Pedroza, BuffVision, Chancellor DiStefano, Haydn Winston, Sarah Adderholt, and the wonderful people of CU and Boulder.
All of you hating on CU-- you just have no idea what an incredible place this is. I am graduating in May and am so upset to be leaving this amazing place. This brought tears to my eyes when I saw it at last years' commencement, and still gets me today. WE ARE FOREVER BUFFS. GO CU!
Wonderful video and memories for the Class of 2011. #ForeverBuffs
Thank you for making a video that actually shows CU in an accurate manner. Those who know the school well or are/have been students can truly be proud of such a great school. Everyone who gives us shit based on what Playboy or even the Daily Beast says should get themselves an education that doesn't make them ignorant and judgmental.
I love CU Boulder!!!
@ValiantLoverr You went to State didn't you? I'm sorry! Or maybe you're just super jealous? Regardless, Brett made an amazing video that gives me chills every time I watch it. Go Buffs!
@ValiantLoverr I agree that may be the CU stereotype, but there is much more the campus has to offer. It's unfair to categorize CU in such a way when I had a completely different experience in my four years there. There are pros and cons to every school and I believe CU's pros far outweigh its cons.
Anybody got any other good videoes for cu?
Yes, if there ever was a cultured song, Elton John's "Circle of Life" is certainly it. Indeed, I bet they donned traditional African garb whilst recording it!
The irony of your comment is simply amazing. You claim CU students are pretentious, yet you judge CU as some self-appointed arbiter of what "culture" is? Most laughable, you imply that a song from Disney (hardly a beacon of multiculturalism in the entertainment industry) IS "cultured."
Nah, CU sucks. GO RAMS!
