Please could someone tell me if you have managed to find brass instruments in this song? I have difficulties to hear really low sounds, so I might have missed them, and I would LOVE to hear a horn of judgement in there. That'd be just fitting. Or maybe just that tiny bit too much? :D (While trying to find trumpets or trobones or other bass instruments in the orchestral version, I realised one reason why this song sounds so very familiar to me. There are similar melody lines and harmonies to the The Creator music by Hans Zimmer. It made me laugh out loud, considering the themes of that film.)
It’s very hard to say. The album is mixed so terribly you can’t hear anything. I think there’s even some kind of white noise in the background under everything adding extra “blur“. Can’t hear the melodies, can’t hear the words, can’t hear the quality of Floor’s voice. It should’ve been an instrumental album. I hope it’s remastered and re-released.
@@ascensionenergetics85 Interesting! I highly, highly recommend the cd. I bought the 3cd earbook from the publishing event in Helsinki, and I am just... Speechless. It ruined Tidal forever for me. And I had thought Tidal was superb quality. (Which it is, compared to the messy plastic sound in Spotify, and I'd not mention RUclips inside the same century.) But with my decent headphones and the cd... I cried. I honestly and in real, cried. The sound is absolutely clean, pure perfection, which is a rarity to someone having absolute pitch and constantly hearing the white noise. There is no white noise, at all, only peaceful silence between the notes, which makes everything so... Peaceful. And the sound is like velvet, yet crystal clear velvet, if that makes sense. First time in my life I could hear that drumbeats have a SOUL. I can hear fingers sliding on the strings. I can hear so many delightful, funny, stunning details in the orchestra. And Floor's voice is, for me, in perfect balance with everything else, and I can hear her every word clearly. But then, I do listen to Nightwish for the music first, and Floor comes as the loveliest bonus of all times on top of it all. So, for me, this mixing that reminds me more of the early albums where Tarja's voice was mixed like it is strong enough to be part of it all (including a symphony orchestra), is not a problem. It's a compliment. Also, I must confess I enjoy also the Instrumental cd a lot. But. I do agree with you 100%. In RUclips and in Spotify, and, for my utter dismay, even on Tidal, the sound quality is... as you so nicely put it, a blur. And the white noise is horrible, and I cannot hear Floor properly. But as this is not the case with the cd, I think that is more to do with the streaming platforms than Nightwish. I hope this long ramble made sense. :D
I agree, Nightwish makes us think, you are right. They move us above the low level debates we hear every day. And ... you too, you make us think thanks to your own thoughts and inputs ... thank you for your kindness and respect.
Good Evening Dear Emilia our dear Friend, We hope you are keeping in good spirits, and in Health as well, Yes these new songs off the new Album are just Total Genius By The Legend That is Tuomas Holopainen, who is one of the greatest Composer of our Times for sure. Thank You Dear Lady, (and are you ready for more Documentaries)?, Let Us Now. x
Hello dear Dorothy & Terry! I hope you are fine, too? And yes, I am very, very much ready for more documentaries! Did you watch the tea chat with Elizabeth and Floor? It was such a cozy, lovely interview.

I was a moment confused by the title containing Creative first reaction 🙂 You detected the meaning of this song quickly! And did you know an orchestral version was released by Tuomas? Complete different vibe.
Thank you! Two tiny letters can make a huge difference... Now the title is just as uncreative as the reaction itself. :D And yes! What do you think about the orchestral version? I bought the 3cd earbook from the publishing event last Thursday, and I have been listening the instrumental version ever since. On repeat. :D The orchestral version patiently waits for more attention along with the actual vocal version. I have listened them through, too, but the instrumental version is absolutely perfect for writing. With rhythm and the feel, yet no Floor's wonderful voice nor Tuomas's clever words to distract.
@@zbygniewprlwytzkofsky6614 of course I can! I am just trying to decide if I should do a separate video about it, although I do not have any footage from the event. (We were asked not to record it and as this was in Finland, everyone obeyed.) I have so, so, so many thoughts about the album cover that was on the big screen the whole time: I had plenty of time to spot fascinating details and I am SO excited about it!!!! I wrote down my first impressions of each song, so I could share those, too, and also how I saw them relating to each others and to the album cover, based on just first impressions. But I do not think there'd be enough interest in a video like that! So maybe I just share some thoughts with every song, when I do reactions... It was a nice event, and very Finnish: the 600 of us listened the album through in silence. :D Kai was there, as were the directors of the music videos, and they told us some memories and exeriences and details, and I hope I remember them all!
@@Harvinaisenkauniselama Nightwish gave us all an early Christmas present: "Orchestral music for concentration, studying and dreaming". Two hours! Here on RUclips, and added to spotify. I think "oneeyedpete" is an admirer of your style.
Im not dure you are interpreting Tuomas correctly Emilia. Here's something he said back in 2015: "It's only during the last years that l've started to question my own religious stance. Why have I been a Lutheran and believed in the kind of God Lutherans do? It's simply because I was born in Finland in the 1970's. In another culture, in another time, there would have been another god above others. In 10th century Denmark, I would have worshipped Odin and Thor. If I'd been born North Korean, I would've been forbidden to believe in any kind of Supreme Being In other words: what you believe in - or what you think you believe in - is based on pure coincidence." As to the cinnection between the songs, he has said this album is best heard in its entirety and in the sequence on the album. That implies that they are linked as a train of thought, rather ss you suggested.
Tässähän kerrotaan vain, kuinka monta "maailmaloppua" me on jo väistetty - taidolla tai tuurilla. Tuo "horse waste covering London" on loistava oivallus. 1800 -luvun lopussa oikeasti pelättiin, että maailma hukkuu hevonpaskaan. Lontoo oli jo silloin suurkaupunki ja hevosia oli todella paljon. No, onneksi inehmot keksi autot ja fossiiliset polttoaineet.

Leo XIII on mun lempipaavi! (Jos näin luterilaisena niin saa sanoa.) Olin tosi ilahtunut, kun näin hänet ihan heti, kun avasin earbookin kirjan. Se antaa aika kivoja vivahteita moniin juttuihin levyllä.
