With dialouges like "The only thing that is standing bw us and full scale calamity are the time keepers" ravonna had convinced mobius that these two variants MUST be caught. So i understand if he is going to do anything and everything to get the job done.

I don't get how so many people say that Loki is literally falling for himself. Sylvie may be a varient of Loki, but they're two different people, they have a different perspective on things and they grew up with a different reality. Loki didn't fall for himself, he fell for Sylvie. Prayers for their reunion in Episode 5 or 6.
Edit: Everyone is also saying how disgusting it was that they kissed in the finale, obviously they are variants of the same being but they're not each other, they are a different person in their heart. I thought the kiss was fitting and beautiful as a last goodbye.

If you look closely, before he gets pruned, he actually saw Ravonna starting to get up, and by turning and standing the way he did, he essentially sacrificed himself for Sylvie.

With morbius putting it so bluntly to loki that loki was in love with her and loki's expressions during that interrogation made it clear that while he denied it loki knew what morbius said was true. He was going to confess his feelings for her when he got pruned. It was all so on the face throughout that episode I can't believe people are still in denial. I guess its true people believe what they want to believe even if the truth stood naked infront of them. I love this so much and I just have to say that people totally misunderstand Loki and Sylvie’s relationship; he isn’t “falling in love with himself”, she’s a totally different person. The only thing that variants have in common is their temporal aura (aka soul,)and their circumstance. they all have different personalities, DNA, and (I think, based on the credits scene of episode 4;) parents. It’s not incest or “selfcest” as people have been calling it.
He’s not in love with her because she “is him”, as you can see because after a while he stops calling her a Loki, and starts seeing her as her own unique person, rather than just a version of himself. I do believe that the writers are incorporating a self-love message here, but not in the way that people might think. If he is indeed in love with her, he loves her as her own person, but like his little “love is like a dagger” metaphor, he “sees himself in her.” He sees some of his traits and I believe he is starting to appreciate himself more by seeing those traits in her. He is learning to love himself by loving her, even though he is loving her as her own unique person.
A lot of people (going off of what mobius said) think the nexus event was cause because it is two versions of the same being falling for each other, but I believe that it was actually because Lokis are destined to be alone (hence why when mobius was talking to Loki about his connection with Sylvie, and how it might bring down the TVA, he asks “do you really believe you deserve to be alone?” They are not destined to love another being. Loki and Sylvie feeling affection for each other, would therefore be enough to have started that nexus event.
Loki is finally getting past that insecure need to be better than someone else. He stops seeing sylvie as competition for “who’s the better Loki” and starts to see her as more than just a tool or an obstacle, but as a unique being. So by caring for her, he’s building a better relationship with himself as well. THAT is the self-love aspect of this story. Not the cookie-cutter observations that people who hate them together see because they aren’t used to something different or poetic.

I have been sitting here after watching the 4th episode just crying. I was so not prepared for how much I would absolutely love seeing loki becoming aware of himself and loving sylvie. Whenever they were going to die together, they were just smiling. Neither of them really knew they were in love, but they sat there smiling together as their world was ending. The "love is a dagger" speech was heart wrenching to me. After Loki finished saying that, I thought I could see sylvie understanding and feeling more comfortable, like that she was not alone and that he understood how cruel everything had been. At the end scene, when loki was trying to tell sylvie that he loved her, you can see how much he really does care. Hes tripping over his words when loki is great under pressure and at lying. You could see how much he wanted to say it, but was scared of getting hurt by love one more time. their chaotic relationship will always be perfect in my eyes, as I have seen how much they love each other. Now, I'm not great at choosing the right words, or explaining anything really. And I know this is just a random comment on a edit. But, I just couldn't help but write what I was feeling down. Their story so far has made me so unbelievably emotionable, that I am now resorting to writing everything down in youtube comments. Goodnight everyone.

Based on what we've seen of Loki and Sylvie's interactions they both have different personalities and act differently. That's why Loki said "Her name was Sylvie" because he came to realize that she isn't just some poor copy of him but her own person. Mobius - someone who wasn't there to see that - couldn't know.

I just met someone recently who is basically my female variant. Falling in love with yourself is a strange thing. I see her and it's like looking in a mirror, she feels what I feel, she behaves the way I behave, she thinks the way I think and I've never felt more connected to anyone. By loving each other, we've both learned to love ourselves. Loving yourself is hard when you're so used to just being everyone else's cheerleader. Seeing yourself from another perspective, you remember you're human, and you start to afford yourself the love and kindness you would show others. I'm an incredibly lucky person, and this show is such a perfect example of twin flames and what that looks like. I've always loved this show, but I connect with it so much more now.

For me it’s one of the most authentic and plausible love stories I’ve ever seen, I get why people find it weird because they are the same basic concept of the being called Loki but for me it makes sense completely because who else was the god of mischief ever gonna fall in love with but a variant of himself, Tom and Sophia play Loki and Sylvie with such believability and realism that you truly root for them by the final episode, for me it’s a show that speaks to the weirdos and the outcasts of society of which I and my wife consider ourselves to be and also speaks for the couples that are the definition of opposites attract and again me and my wife fit that perfectly, I’m a colorful and bubbly dude and my wife is a dry humoured and rebellious emo and we couldn’t look and ‘be’ more opposite and yet we are inseparable and we would give our lives for each other and our kids in a heart beat

I don't get why the series is receiving so much hate with Loki and Sylvie kissing? especially in the Twitter world.
Like man, the moment Sylvie was introduced they were tryin' to point out that she has her own identity. And I'd already considered that she could be his love interest.
They had given the same name, yes. Same label ( Variants ) as per the TVA, but they were a different person, they had different histories, different timelines. It was evident. Just right in the middle of the series I already began to separate her from the Loki variant scenario. She was a self-sufficient character. If they did not consider the storyline when they made her, she could be an independent protagonist/antagonist without being tied to Loki.
And for those who are overreacting, have you ever tried to watch Predestination? That was way more ~
And It's reasonable tho, Loki loving himself. But nah, I know it wasn't like that. Sylvie is not him but is a reflection of who he was. We could see that our Loki is ahead of Sylvie, she's still in the process of getting her revenge whilst Loki had already accepted his fate. They were an entirely different person, but that's how he had developed a connection. He began to care as he began to be aware of himself and what he did. He began to feel things. He couldn't save himself, at least he'd save Sylvie, which we knew didn't end up well.
That kiss confirms that Sylvie isn't just a Loki variant anymore, they had both built their own identity throughout the series. Just like what Loki said whilst miss minutes was trying to convince them, two Loki's could exist in the same timeline. He said " We write our own destiny now " That's when they stopped considering themselves as variants anymore. #LokiFinale
The fact that both sylvie and loki are frost gaints. They don't feel cold, but still loki showed her love to sylvie by dropping thin blanket :)

As much as I would have loved Loki to have told Sylvie he loved her, I think it's too soon for him to have realised that and was more likely he was going to tell her that their connection could bring down the TVA. That hope was not lost. Amazing video!

Thor was my favourite until Loki series came !
Now loki is my favourite character for all the time
