    Thank you for championing the St. Lawrence Market area. I feel it is underrepresented and underrated by other realtors who get caught up with the newer glitz and glamour of King West.

    the design district should really go all the way to parliament - the amount of density going up is impressive: giant purpose built rental at queen and ontario (with a concert space??), the menkes at sherbourne and front, time+space is now finished, bauhaus by lamb etc etc

    Humber Bay shores (Park Lawn and Lakeshore) is a fantastic area. Beautiful new and old buildings right on the water with lots of restaurants. It has a hotel resort vibe. You are right beside Humber Bay park East and Sir Casimir Gzowski park, Bike trails, walking trails & Humber Bay Arch Bridge. High park and Bloor West is so close. Sherway Gardens is not far. Just such a fun area.

      Some great options in Humber Bay. Only reason it's not in this video is because it's not technically downtown Toronto.

      King Street West is horrible loud noisy drunks on the weekends, puke and fights from the 905ers that come down on the weekend

      indeed, right on the boarder. What they have planed for the area in the next 5-10 years Will be a highlight of Etobicoke .From the ‘Christie towers’ ( which I’m pretty sure the permission to use this name has been taken away). the parks, community centres and everything else will enhance the area greatly.

    • @jaayclyde21
      @jaayclyde21 2 месяца назад +2

      Historically and even at present, people have pre-conceived notions about Regent Park. It used to be mainly about crime but, Toronto is filled with that now no matter where you live. I think it’s a gem. Can’t wait to see what Tridel does with the last 2 phases.

    I think those are all great areas to visit but I don't think the age of people owning condos downtown are the same as *(young) people who would want to enjoy and party down there because they can't afford them until they get old and by the time they afford it.

    • @TomStorey
      @TomStorey  2 месяца назад +1

      Really depends on the price paid per sqft at launch. Some buyers will be waiting a while for that value to come back. It's your holding for the long term, that's a great area/building to own.

    • @adamnarbeaux5898
      @adamnarbeaux5898 2 месяца назад

      @ unfortunately I did not purchase at launch in 2017 for the $1100/ft. I paid much more than that. Bought an assignment. How many years do you think it will take to get back to $1400?
