    Florida politicians sold out to developers years ago. Thousands, and thousands of homes, condos and apartments were built on flood plains and seasonal wetlands, and still are being built on, now more than ever. Homes are being built on old dumps and toxic waste super fund sites, and Florida politicians cover up the crimes. Back in the 80s and 90s flooding was rare, but now, normal summer rains cause flooding. Florida has the best politicians money can buy.

    "Fastest Intensification from Cat 1 to Cat 5: Hurricane Milton (2024)"
    Hurricane Milton (2024) has set a record for rapid intensification, increasing its wind speed by 110 mph within 24 hours of developing in the Gulf of Mexico. This extraordinary intensification took the storm from a tropical storm (Cat 1) to a Category 5 hurricane (160 mph winds) in a remarkably short period.

    • @SummerBreeze4022
      @SummerBreeze4022 2 месяца назад +4

      @@TygreKittywell they do have technology that can superheated the ionosphere, so they could technically help with its intensification, our government is evil as hell but I dont think that's what's going on. We can't pretend that natural disasters or hurricanes just stopped existing because they have technology to do these things. We had really bad hurricanes 100 years ago, so there's no way to prove if they're doing anything to it or it's just a natural occurance

      The word "gravity" in the word gravity wave can make the term more confusing than it really is. It has little to do with having a special relationship with gravity. ALL air motions are influences by gravity. Once the word gravity is eliminated, all that is left is the word wave. Air can have one of two motions, which are either STRAIGHT or WAVE.

    Have lived on the Pacific Coast in California 40 years then moved to Mexican Pacific Coast for another 40 years to today , , I have never seen or remember a hurricane forming in the gulf , been in many hurricanes that came off the ocean , how did this happen in the gulf ?

Agarró a todos desprevenidos. 900 cadaveres de gente ahogada y contando … Esto es hecho a propósito… nadie me quita eso de la cabeza. Y que Dios nos ayude. I sure as hell hope not. I'm in Tallahassee. I think the cold front and jet stream are coming down from the north and keeping it from turning. Prayers for everyone. No one wants this.

      There's a big low pressure ridge over the south east right now which is going to keep the storm heading directly for the peninsula. That low pressure is why none of the models have it turning north at all

    Another way to find your elevation is most cars have that ability on their computer. I have a 2011 Kia, and it tells me my elevation level in the settings menu.
    I'm sure most cars by now have that feature as well.
    Stay safe.

    • @donnab.42
      @donnab.42 2 месяца назад +1

      It is so easy for people living outside Florida to say “Get out”. Where to? All shelters are full, gas is had to get, if not impossible;traffic is a mess. Couple that with hotels booked beyond capacity, and north is devastated from the last one. Words are easy when you are out of harms way.

    Dave I a watching ships put there feeding this Milton. If you watch it you will see it pumped into the storm and I am very upset. There are a lot ships out cruising at one to two knots there is no reason for that unless they are feeding that storm with smoke.
