People hate on these cars, but its just what we need here in the US. A simple, reliable car with essential safety features and nothing else. The only car like that still sold today is the Mitsubishi Mirage. The Chevrolet Spark was a good option, but that was just discontinued.
I thought that the USA has the largest selection of cars

@@magicautopro Nowadays they don't sell anything here.
Lada was in the market here from 1990 to 1996 I think, when they left the country.
Imports were prohibited from 1976 till 1990, so when the market re-opened, Lada took a chance.
And they scored well. The Niva and the Laika (2107) were the most popular models, you can still find some of them being driven around, specially the Niva.
The Samara was also sold, but in much smaller numbers; in fact, I think I've seen them on the streets only a handful of times.
Getting a Niva is still a dream of mine. 😎

@@Whaler-q3i I know (and love!) the original Niva, was the brand's most popular vehicle here, got a very loyal fanbase, with a lot of support.
I knew there was a newer Niva released in other countries (even sold as Chevrolet Niva), but I didn't know this Travel version. Just searched on Google, looks really nice!
If the brand still sold cars here, it's definitely another model I'd consider purchasing! After all, if the Granta is for daily drive in the city, we need a larger SUV, more capable in the off-roading, to take the family on trips to the countryside, right? 😁
On top of that, even used as a daily as well, since road conditions here are pretty bad with lots of bumps, so that higher ground clearance brings more peace of mind. 😎

Отличная машина, правда на других я и не ездил, только в ГАИ на гранте седан в минималке, когда вождение сдавал. Но мне понравилась машина)

Машина и правда неплохая, но, лично мое мнение, она нужна чтобы набраться опыта в вождении и ремонте, ну и тот же экзамен сдать. Пару лет покатался на ней и на другую можно пересесть, если конечно бюджет позволит
А я не видел ещё в таком кузове гранту. Прикольно наблюдать. Авто на каждый день, супер просто!!!!! Одна печалька, цена ух стала. 👍👍👍👍Всех благ и супер дорог!!!!

Я тоже удивлён, со стороны калина, а так уже внешка смотрится получше и как вариан интересно выглядит. Могут варианты разные делать, если захотят конечно. Возять приору универсал, смотрится красиво, компактный вариант, ну переднюю часть изменить можно, чуть приподнять, шумка, антикор и песня!!!! Актуально по сей день. Нет же лепим всякое, да по ляму продаём и где свои плюсы и варианты?????? С прошедшими праздниками и здоровья всем!!!!!

@@magicautopro don’t get me wrong here, I have some very good Russian friends and they are lovely, intelligent people. This vehicle however, belongs in the early 90s, it is a great shame that our governments inabilities to get along restrict us as people to share our worthwhile knowledge.
