- I've had the 5600G in my testing system for a year but never tested it. Today, I'll test its integrated GPU to see how well it performs in 2023!

Planning to get a pre-built PC and AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is the CPU with no GPU. The coincidence, I'll be saving up to get a powerful GPU. This will be my first time getting a PC

I have a lot of friends and family that have me build PCs for them and I really enjoy it. I am seeing that I can build a 5600g system with 16 gigs of ram for home office use under 400 dollars. This seems pretty nuts to me and I am curious what people think about the 5600g for professional use that isn't engineering design ect.
I'm planning on building one with either a 5700g or 5600g without a dedicated GPU since I'll just use it for light indie games and clip studio paint which is reliant on single core performance
5600G is perfect for everyday use and tasks that aren't GPU-heavy.
The fact that Cyberpunk plays at all on this is fairly impressive.
Picked up a new in the sealed box 5600G for $80 back in 2022. Used it in a bedroom PC and sold off a Ryzen 1600AF and GT1030 DDR5 for more then I paid for the 5600G. Then after finding more deals it has been pushed out to the shop / garage PC. Paired it with a almost free B550 Gigabyte DS3H, $40 FlareX Bdie 3200mhz c14, $80 GTX1080 Gigabyte G1 and now my shop PC is gameable on a 2560x1080p @ 60hz 25" Ultrawide. Mainly just use it for shop research, music and youtube videos while out in the garage but it runs 60fps locked on all the controller focused games I have loaded like Grid / F1 2022 / Doom Eternal.
Just got an great offer on a 6600XT in another system so I took the money and pulled this GTX1080 for it until I come across a smoking deal and the GTX1080 will land itself back in the garage when I do.

Honestly any game at 40fps is plenty enough.

Surprised what the 6 ands 8 cores G models can do. Recent price drops with cheaper Nvme, ram kits. With all new or mixed used parts, build basic pc or base for a decent budget gaming pc. Something used like a 57000XT, 2060 Super for around 200 smackers. Many Hrs of discrete GPU gaming for about £500.
That's the way to go mate! The single core performance on the 5600G is really good for it's price too. I'd wager you'd get away with 2070S levels of performance.
Great video, been playing on a windows 10 5600u red dead redemption 230 to 40 FPS with high detail absolutely stunning the screen as beautiful as well. I don’t think I’ll go back to my old gaming machine for my two or three favorites. E
just buyed intel arc a770 in ITaly for 400€ (on my channel there is the UNBOXING) and it goes better than i expected... I was on stream while playing Rainbow six and I haven't had any kind of a problem... (I have an Intel i7 9700k but I wanted to play latest games and couldn't afford a NVIDIA GPU)
I've always wanted to test and Arc GPU, they intrigue me to be fair!
I like the Intel design. Also wish the Acer Predator BiFrost Arc A770 16GB was easily available in the UK at those stonking US prices.
I still remember those times when I was so much to play PC games in 2007 😅. Then ps3 came and change the whole PC gaming graphics scene. Now I see to shock that a Game Doom from 2016 still looking good after 8 years with low graphics too. I still think that’s it is the last best game of the decade. Nowdays I fell Ray tracing stuff is over saturated. Most gamers don’t think it is necessary but I am a mid 90s born guy and I don’t know what Today’s kids want but if you are old school PC gamers like me you definitely seen anything new after Doom 2016 as a graphical and gameplay wise.

Bruh your apu giving much better performance although it should but.. recently I have built a PC with this apu but assassin's Creed 3 2010 this game lags in my PC ..iam so much disappointed man.what can I do?please help

I've taken that money and added $100.. Now I've built my starter level PC that ill upgrade in the coming months.
I already had a decent monitor i purchased for my PS5. I have pretty crap keyboard and mouse, witch you could get for cheap.. wouldn't add much to the costs.
Why 3600MHZ and why not 3200MHZ for Ryzen 5 since the latency calculation says 3200Mhz is better?
Is Ryzen 5 5600G future proof? Im not sure if im going with Ryzen 7 5700g or Ryzen 5 5600g. Im in a tight budget right now.
I'm in the same confusion. But 5700g costing roughly double I might go with 5600G.

I don't see why not. I used it with 32GB (2x16GB - dual rank). If you run into issues, lower your memory frequency, but the memory controller should handle 3600MHz.
What was your ambient temp?
I can't quite remember now. It wasn't too hot or too cold. So I would say between 17 and 21C.
i got score of 7671 with a ryzen 3 3200G with a rx 480 (8gb) and ram 16gb (1080p medium)

This guy has high expections lol, he's very dissappointed in games that don't have good graphics when it's literally an integrated GPU. If you were using an integrated GPU, you wouldn't care about the graphics much, you would care most about whether the game runs or not. For an integrated GPU it performs very well. This guy must be a High Spec gamer if he's literally complaining about the performance of an integrated GPU.
