You could add a monogram in the center to make mug rugs, and make Christmas gifts!

Love your videos, Terry. On this design I see some stitches are over-lapping, how can you prevent that?

Linda Johnson - you would need to draw a boundary with with shapes or free hand and set it as a no sew line. One thing missing from My Design Center on the the machine is the ability to set offsets. We can only hope this is added.

Creative video. Thank you. Do you change the stitch order in Embroidery by skipping to what you want to stitch next and so forth or is there another place to change the stitching order?

Susan Fiondella - unfortunately you do have to manually reorder as you mentioned by skipping stitches. If you have PE Design 11 or Palette 11, you could import the PHX file and reorder the stitches.

Thanks Terry, I really enjoyed watching this tutorial. You mentioned muslin, do you use it as a stabiliser and still add wadding/batting and muslin again on the top?

Carol Hiller - I use muslin as a test sew-out. Often times I will stabilize it will Pellon Shapeflex. I use both bleached muslin and unbleached. For stabilizer I use a tear away. If I am making a quilt sandwich, I just use a backing, batting and I use a Starch alternative like Best press on the top. When you use wadding or batting, you do not really need a stabilizer if you have loose quilting stitches. If you have 10;000 or more stitches, place a piece of cutaway between the layers or add the backing afterwards and stitch around the blocks.
