Very well explained 👍 you clarity in speech and pronunciation of words is excellent ! Very good English 👍 God bless you always 🙏 nice video on ship steering gear arrangement 👍
He meant the command signal or order from bridge is an electrical signal to actuator in steering gear room which maybe, telemotor or electrical solenoids valves.
Can an electro-hydraulic system be actuated manually at the steering unit location with test or override controls in the event of a bridge communications failure?
@marineinsight I Have A Question, How many Times At Hours Steering Pump Must Be Change While Vessel Sailing Based On Regulation ??? I Hope You Answered, Thanks 🙏🙏
A hydraulic steering gear system uses hydraulic pressure to operate the steering mechanism of a vehicle or vessel. The system consists of a hydraulic pump, hoses, and a steering mechanism. When the driver turns the steering wheel, the pump creates pressure in the hydraulic system, which then activates the steering mechanism, causing the wheels or rudder to turn in the desired direction. An electro-hydraulic steering gear system uses both hydraulic pressure and electronic controls to operate the steering mechanism. The system consists of a hydraulic pump, hoses, electronic sensors, and a control unit. The driver's input is transmitted to the control unit through electronic sensors, which then determines the appropriate hydraulic pressure to be applied to the steering mechanism to turn the wheels or rudder in the desired direction. In summary, the main difference between hydraulic and electro-hydraulic steering gear systems is that the latter incorporates electronic controls and sensors to provide more precise and efficient control of the steering mechanism
Can understand basic information of stearing Gear
Very good presentation 😍
Why youtube is so useless without Indian saviour brothers with beautiful tutorials/explanations!!!

best to understand..sir keep uploading videos for class 4 and competency exams. 😄😍
Thank you for the comment. Sure. Do share and support
Thanks dear
Very nice 👍
Thanks video 👍
You mentioned that there are 2 types of Steering Gear which are hydraulic and electro hydraulic, my question is what are their differences?
He meant the command signal or order from bridge is an electrical signal to actuator in steering gear room which maybe, telemotor or electrical solenoids valves.
For info SOLAS requirement for steering gear is 35 to 30 in 28 seconds. Not 35 to 35
How we maintain healthy steering gear as per solas?
Awesome explanation. 👍
Excellent job
Thank you! Cheers!
Feels like I'm standing at my school assembly😂

Super explanation .very clear english.thanks a lot madam.

24hrs.noon to noon
🤘
👍
Why in most of the ships ram type steering gears are used ?
Easy to maintain
@@marineinsight Thanks

brother, what is the function of actuator?
Actuator helps turn the Rudder.
I'm such a nerd.
Om Ah Houm
and what about stopping?
