One of the best origami dish demos I have seen. No messing about, just good thorough instructions. Thank you. Love the glazed results, your students are lucky
I love how such a simple idea creates so many possibilities. I’ve done something similar with a drape form, but I really like this a lot. Great project for teaching students to experiment with templates.
Hi Jeff ! LOVE your video but would like more info. on how to create templates to create these with my students!!! Stuck at home right now because of schools closed(virus). Would like to start asap :) Thank you!
Jeff Pabotoy I think she meant the build up of glazes on the bottom of the piece, where it looked like the glaze flowed during the firing? I’m assuming this is ^06. Have you had any problems with too much glaze flowing to the bottom. Ie: bubbling, blistering, or pitting.

Thank you so much for sharing this amazing project!
That was fun to watch and they turned out beautiful. Such unique pieces. You are a great teacher.
Mr. Pataboy, Is it possible to get the template for the square bowl you demonstrated in this video.
I love the dishes especially the glazes . Do you care to share the glazes recipes?🤗
Thank you so very much, you are an exemplary teacher.
Dear Mr. P, I would love to see a video about the pictures in the back and how you explain the different levels of quality work.
Those are previous student works. You can find them on my instagram @Mr.Pceramics
Hey, absolutely love these! What would be a suggested time frame for creating these beauties!
1 class for design, 2-3 class periods for construction, 1 class for glazing (Block periods)
Muito lindas, suas peças. Obrigada pela aula.
Enjoyed the video. I wish there had been an example of each shaped bowl.
same
The construction approach is exactly the same. The design can change but not the approach.
Con qué tipo de pintura pinta??
I use amaco glazes. Most are low fire. Which piece are you asking so I can give you specifics.
Lovely technique

great video, having trouble with volume?
Works better with headphones
I’m interested in the types of glaze and how you get the build up at the bottom!
@@caraleemcgraw3275 We compress the bottom flat using our fingers. Prevents it from rocking.
