That dive team is amazing, they brought closure to my family when my brother went missing year's ago. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with thank you to those guy's that found him in his car
Joseph I am sorry for your loss. I know you are very grateful that they brought your brother home. But you are so right the dive team they are amazing people and a amazing team
@ 12:00 - having worked for over 40 years on-and-off with two way radio equipment I always have to laugh when I see people like Jared and Doug holding their radios tipped over on their side looking all cool. They may not realize it but when the radio is sideways like that, most of the power of the transmission is blasting straight up to heaven and straight down into the earth. Very little of it is going out to the sides where you want it. The antennas on the top of those radios radiate very little signal vertically off the top tip of the antenna or the base of the antenna, it comes out the sides in a hopefully 360° pattern. When I spent 10 years as the technical service manager of a seven city 911 center, we launched a huge educational campaign to all of the police officers firefighters and paramedics to hold their radios straight up and down when they were talking and listening. We quickly found out that most of the dead spots we thought we had in our coverage pattern were reduced or eliminated when people held the radios correctly LOL. Just a little thought to share with each other and improve security and safety.
I concur. I was a Comm/Nav tech in the USAF and in basic tech school we were taught about radiation/propagation patterns, and you are dead on correct...Hold it Vertical, it ain't an Iphone!😁
Or my old boss that 'hated' long antenna's on his UHF portable. So always had me put on those stubby ones. Then wondered why he couldn't hit the base while I could. (long 'gain' antenna on mine). His work truck had a 1/4 wave on roof - mine a gain antenna. Sure I 'hit' things with it every so often - had to remove it at times to get under low hanging crap. But I always had better range then he did. Then I've a 'radio geek' ran either good Kenwood or Motorola radios instead of his cheap stuff. My house had the UHF back up base. Ran a 'station master antenna' - his base a cheap UHF ringo type. Cannot tell you the number of times I climbed his tower to repair or replace it. Cheaper is not cheap in the long run.
Stopped by after watching HeavyDSparks and his team pull the Lake Mead Motor Home off the bank. Glad to see the brotherhood of helping is still alive and well in America.

It is refreshing to see Jared and Dave enjoy a day diving. It is rare to see the smiles and laughs from them. Although I appreciate the smiles and laughter, it is heartwarming to see them recover a loved one for a family's closure.
Thanks for spreading awareness about life jackets, 21 years ago as they were pulling my brother in law off the bottom of the river he was born and raised on a wmr officer told me they had never pulled up anyone who had a life jacket on and it stuck. They have became much more comfortable and wearable in recent years, but regardless they were always more comfortable than viewing your loved one in a coffin!
Absolutely correct! If anything is learned from this entire experience it should be recognized that any boat can sink and at any time, and you may not have time to dig under the seats for life jackets you've never put on, and don't know how to secure! WEAR YOUR LIFE JACKET!
Love how they all blend together like old buddies. The job gets done but the seriousness of the job in hand. safety of the whole crew and the incredible knowledge of this group makes for a good video. They also inject humour into it at just the right times.
This is definitely a welcome adventure. And definite shout out to Garmin for hooking y’all up that is amazing to have sponsors/companies able to provide for such a wonderful group size adventures with purpose. Any update on the second RV it was stuck in Kentucky
Though this dive might be more "fun" than searching for missing loved ones, every time you get in the water your lives are at risk. And I understand the deeper the dive, the greater the risk. Jared, it's been awhile since I've seen you suit up. Hats off to all!
Congrats on the recovery. But I noticed that there weren't a lot of life vests/jackets visible in the last few minutes of this documentary. I'm glad everyone is safe. Practice what you preach guys.
This was possibly one of the craziest rescues that AWP has pulled off so far! This was indeed a difficult one, risky with both Jared and Doug taking multiple dives at that depth in a single day, and it required extreme amount of skill and caution too, as the rescued boat wasn't heading for a junkyard, like most of the vehicles you rescue. But since the mental burden of solving unsolved human disappearances was not involved, this was insanely fun indeed! You must have got a great well-deserved break with this one! By the way, thanks again for reminding people about the importance of wearing life jackets. When you folks, who are diving 100 feet just like that, also wear a life jacket when on your boat, it makes a huge demonstration on teh importance of safety! Good luck with your mission!
Lake Powell is such a beautiful place to visit, and I am so glad I was able to go and ski on it at least once in my lifetime ! Lucky my boat stayed above water the whole time ! Great recovery guys !
I love how Jared didn't believe that they would be able to fill the tanks with air that late, and next morning Jared says "I'm always optimistic" 😂 Love and respect to all of you guys!

What an awesome recovery. Beautiful scenery, clear Powell water, and great friends pulling together to accomplish this amazing recovery. Way to go guys.
I love how you all put your heads together to figure out how to get Heavy D's boat up and out of over 100ft of water! Without butting heads. You all work well together! Looks like you were having fun!!
Hey Fellas! Just finished watching HeavyD's video. Now to see it from your perspective. Can hardly wait! Thank you for all you do, we all love you guys! @Adventures with Purpose just finished watching. Another fabulous video and fantastic recovery! Thank you!

Great to see AWP hanging out with Sparks and crew for a PURPOSE!! i HOPE Doug (HE'S A BEAST!) enjoyed the lower stress. Both you guys needed a little break.
Awesome video!! Nice to have a happy ending every now and again that doesn't involve telling family you recovered their missing loved one. Those are so important and so bittersweet. This one was just cool. Huge thanks to Garmin for hooking up our friends at Adventures with Purpose. Stay safe everyone!!💕💕💕

Bonjour a tous.
Super proud of Doug pushing his limits and learning the ropes to do this. You have to give him MAD respect for his courage and efforts, and Jared owes him a raise 😁
Totally agree!! Doug has become an essential part of AWP. He's so soft hearted inside and tough as nails on the outside & always shows up with a get 'er done attitude. What more can you ask for?
95 feet isn't pushing the limits. also the guy explaining safety stops needs to get educated. It isn't because of nitrogen narcosis. Nitrogen narcosis is when someone dives below 70 feet of water on regular oxygen tanks. If you dive below 70 feet you need to be using a tri mix compressed air to prevent nitrogen narcosis. You do the safety stops to prevent getting the bends. Which is just rapid release of the nitrogen bubbles that develop in your body when breathing compressed air at depth.
Been a subscriber to both HeavyD and AWP for a long time! Loved the challenges of this recue that included my 2 most respectful favorite crews coming together making an awesome recovery! Total worth watching! Love you guys!
I have lots of respect for the job you all did to save the boat. I found myself holding my breath certain times of the tasks at hand! Great going team!
Un-F'ng-believable - This episode should be good for a RUclips Oscar! Nicely done and kudos to the entire gang - well played gentlemen! And I use the term gentlemen VERY lightly lol!
For anyone wondering, they keep referencing 15 minutes as their work window as the amount of time they can spend at 95 feet of depth without having to decompress coming back up is 20 minutes. If they were down there longer than 20 minutes they would have to stop at a designated depth and stay there for a period of time to allow themselves to decompress (gas in the blood) before surfacing.
Time to get on TDI tables and do some deco, in the UK we would routinely dive to 95ft for 60-80mins, then again they do say if you can dive UK you can dive anywhere in the world we are a different breed we love deep cold dark places 🤣
Jared, that is so funny that you thought Dave was pranking you! Glad to see AWP have a great time on a recovery. I can't wait to see Josh's BTS on this adventure. That is one fun and crazy crew to work with and I never had a doubt that both teams would be successful in this mission. You all rock!
i am so glad you got the break you needed. Even though it was a bit of an adventure getting that boat up... it looks like it was a great time with your buddies! Stay safe and blessings always to you all out there...
Love watching you guys doing a recovery. I have missed you using your bags to recover a vehicle. I love watching your skills of knowing where and how to hook them and have the vehicle float how you want it. Keep up the terrific work you are doing.
Fully underrated how dodgey it is to be depth diving at altitude. You guys show this illusion that this is easy, but the heart is in the mouth most of this hour-long video. Riveting. Absolutely riveting. HDS, you have incredible mates.
I have been laid up with an injury and literally watched RUclips videos all weekend. This video was far and away the best one and I didn’t want it to end. Great filming and editing as well, guys!
It's crazy because I've followed both these guys channels for years. I just got a new surf boat and am always paranoid about the plugs. Then my husband told me about a pavarty that sunk and how it was the plug issue, then said awp had recovered it, I had to search it but glad I found it.
As a child, my dad took us to the lake nearly every week. He was not a drinker, thank God, PLUS, he NEVER let anyone get in the water or in the boat WITHOUT a life jacket. EVER! 💕
@@leonp8746 For sure. I hated them as a little girl in the 60’s (+). They were the bulky orange ones, but, I’m still around. He took the water very serious, as many don’t, but should. I lost him 7 years ago to bone cancer. After he retired years ago and couldn’t ski anymore, he moved to Russellville, AR so he could fish every day. He said “Somebody has to do it.”. Haha 💕
@@leonp8746 Leon, it doesn’t ever matter if you have people complain about you being safety first, let them go with someone else. Never give in. Props to you!!
Awesome colab and rescue! Jared and Doug. Two great RUclips teams working together and superb footage throughout. Heavy D and everyone all pull together. Glad everyone safe from the enitial sinking to salvage 🙏
I've really enjoyed both perspectives & how different editing styles highlight features of each crews abilities. Your channel has some awesome accomplishments & I'm glad Heavy D sought to include your unique skills in this recovery. Great subscription to add to my favorites!
Two of my FAVORITE channels working together! I'm so happy, this was Amazing! Greatful that no one was hurt when it sunk and yall were able to safely recover it!
Great episode! Love Garmin gps’s … we have two and they are a great brand. It was wonderful to see the light-hearted Jared come out for a time. Respect the work you guys do to bring loved ones home to their families but I miss the fun Jared sometimes who would clean up the rivers whose shoulders weren’t quite so weighed down with the burdens of his responsibilities.
I knew the Diesel brothers looked familiar, my SO watches them all the time. So glad that you were able to help them out! Keep doing the great work that you do!
I love seeing how all of you have come together again and make this very difficult recovery. I watch Adventures with Purpose every single day. If I like something that I have found and RUclips has so much available but what got me hooked was when cold cases were discovered and how it brings light to their loved ones most importantly you get to bury that person with them there and not lost anymore. This show has proven that there are good people out there willing and sacrificing their life and their time and their equipment. It warms my heart and on this long episode when you went back to day 2 with more tanks and Doug was like hit the like button and subscribe if you liked the episode. So Adventures and HeavyD have worked together at Hover Damn which was super close to the entrance and I loved how each of you have come together again to help each other out. I love you guys and helping those who really need the help. I hope that you both team up together again because each team had something to make things possible. So I live in Utah in Salt Lake City and I had no idea that HeavyDSparks is from my area and yeah I found that to be super awesome and my mouth dropped when you talked about parts of UT and on the 1st night because you had to go back early and you were in the water all day and wow each team brought something to the table and sharing ideas, really got me and I'm glad you got your boat but when you need help you know who to reach out to. So yes my UT HeavyDSparks I subscribed to your site to see what you are all about. My UT-based account. However, I'm a huge fan of Adventures with Purpose and I'm watching your clips daily I discovered you maybe 2 weeks ago and it warms my heart and you were like so close to me. You are my idol and you are amazing. Never forget it and know the impact that you give people on each episode. OK with .much love and support, you all did a hell of a job.
Excellent video! So spine chilling. Jared, your calm demeanor is so impressive. I personally think that the way you approach these dives and coordinate with Doug, is what makes these things successful.
@RUclips Google e Facebook vaffanculo noticed that too. That’s why I mentioned that it’s “spine chilling”. Not properly prepared is a recipe for…. Don’t want to think about that.
So glad I seen the notification that you all posted your video as well. The hard work you guys did was awesome. Scared me, but was awesome. I could not imagine being that far under water. Also glad to see you guys got to unwind and have some fun with this rescue as well. Thanks guys. Stay awesome
Loving the amazing job you guys do on every job. It's amazing how you work out how to help in such a safe way. Though I feel Heavy D looks a bit sunburnt ouch.
Nice work Jared, Doug and Heavy Sparks and the boys. Bring them for a search sometime too. Might be able to cover more areas see if they are up for the challenge. Have a couple of nice dinners somewhere too
Love the combination of talents here! And I hate to be "that guy", but didn't this episode start with HeavyD talking about how important life jackets are ? And virtually NO ONE is wearing one on the boat.
Don't see how you guys are able to dive so deep, with the size of your Kahuna's! 😬🤯 You are amazing, not just for this recovery, but the ones that give people closure to unanswered Missing persons.
That was a beautiful place. So glad you all got it up and out. That is great teamwork. Way to go guy's. As always stay safe and have fun when you can .
I am so glad they found your brother. Our family had to say goodbye to my youngest child and there is nothing harder. I don’t really believe in that word “closure” but for sure relief when they are returned to those who grieve their loss. Many blessings to you and your family.

Le tout avec un magnifique montage vidéo, une très bonne sélection de musiques ,
Prenez soin de vous et soyez prudent !!!
What more can you ask for?
and a paid vacation with his wife
So glad you had a chance to refresh and regroup with friends. All while taking us along on another great adventure. thanks AWP and crew.
I am So happy to see Adventures With Purpose getting some exposure. They have accomplished so much in bringing closure for so many people. 💯👍👍🙏
An awesome adventure in a magical location with incredible people! Thanks for taking us along, glad you were able to recover that spectacular boat.
I have lots of respect for the job you all did to save the boat. I found myself holding my breath certain times of the tasks at hand! Great going team!
Underwater recovery is rarely ever as easy as it should be. But at least you didn't have to worry about recovering a body this time.
just watching and half holding my breath going back 40 years helping my late husband learn the repetitive dive tables...thanks y'all for the vids!
Thank you
Jared, that is so funny that you thought Dave was pranking you! Glad to see AWP have a great time on a recovery. I can't wait to see Josh's BTS on this adventure. That is one fun and crazy crew to work with and I never had a doubt that both teams would be successful in this mission. You all rock!
Great team work as always when you all work together. That’s what good friends are all about!! Glad your all safe and his family❤️ Patricia
i am so glad you got the break you needed. Even though it was a bit of an adventure getting that boat up... it looks like it was a great time with your buddies! Stay safe and blessings always to you all out there...
Doug's beard in the wind was amazing!!
EVER! 💕
Mad love and respect to pops.. I'm the same way. Safety is always number one priority 👌
Two of my favourite channels and there's no other dive team better to recover this boat
Nothing is impossible when you work as a team! Great job and thanks for sharing the experience.
Awesome colab and rescue! Jared and Doug. Two great RUclips teams working together and superb footage throughout. Heavy D and everyone all pull together. Glad everyone safe from the enitial sinking to salvage 🙏
I love watching you both, it's awesome to see Heavy D and Adventures with purpose together doing good for humanity, for the environment.
Two of my favorite teams working together. You do amazing work and are so dedicated. Thank you for all you do.
I've really enjoyed both perspectives & how different editing styles highlight features of each crews abilities. Your channel has some awesome accomplishments & I'm glad Heavy D sought to include your unique skills in this recovery. Great subscription to add to my favorites!
I can almost feel the stress release from you guys.. enjoying something different and fun
Two of my FAVORITE channels working together! I'm so happy, this was Amazing! Greatful that no one was hurt when it sunk and yall were able to safely recover it!
Good to see you two RUclips giants working together. Thanks for sharing your lives with us.
Rick
So awesome to see these two legendary teams come together! Amazing recovery!
I am so glad that yall found his boat and that he and his family were safe
God bless the diving team! The best part of these programs besides locating missing individuals is the underwater diving! Love this!
Its always a treat to see two masters of their respective crafts come together to conquer such a challenge!
So glad I seen the notification that you all posted your video as well. The hard work you guys did was awesome. Scared me, but was awesome. I could not imagine being that far under water. Also glad to see you guys got to unwind and have some fun with this rescue as well. Thanks guys. Stay awesome
Imagine spending 400gs for a boat and you see it sink with your wife and kids on it. Thank God they are safe. I can't imagine.
Maybe you two should make a cool rv with everything needed to do more search and recovery parts but also great for off roading
So good of you to help out Heavy D in his boat rescue !!!!!!!!
What a great group of guys to team up for a fun/hard recovery!!!
Have a couple of nice dinners somewhere too
I love watching Dave, the stuff he does is sooo cool. Just like what you guys do as well. God Bless you all.
