These were my thoughts exactly. She works with great precision and at the sane time she is keeping the patient distracted by talking about various things such as his case history and when that is done she talks about shopping, food and cooking etc, while still fully focused on the job. And she continues the dual tasks till the procedure is fully done.
100/100 to the Doc I would say.

Listen I had 8 of these nasty things under my foot, I had already gotten used to walk with those under there, but I wet to a drugstore and the nurse working there suggested me to wash my feet with baking soda every day, and she gave me some sort of “nail polish-ish” smelling and looking bottle, . I used it every morning, applied it gently on the infected areas, put duck tape over it One week later whilst I was removing the duck tape all of the corns came out , there was no blood , no pain just like scraping old wounds. It’s been a year and a half my foot is nice and clean. It was a Russian thing called Mozolin.

This is temporary as they keep coming back.
I cut mine out in the ball of my foot numerous times.
I tried compound W to no avail.
I would have to scrape and dig out the seed like corns about once every 2-3 weeks as the pain got worse.
Finally I figured out the cure and it’s gone now.
I got one of those large toothbrush type callus files for feet.
They have a convex bottom file like rasp that does the sanding and the top part is hollow to catch the filings.
Sort of like a fine cheese grater.
I softened the tissue by showering and dig out the corn then rasp it after each shower morning and night till it got to the point that the area where the dry skin was got smaller and smaller, thinner and thinner.
I really didn’t have to dig anything out once I started using the file.
This took a couple weeks and finally the area has shrunken fully and is almost completelyhealed up.
I thought it would never go away but this was the only thing that completely healed the area and kept the corns from forming.
No more digging out those painful seed like annoyances with a sharp utility knife.
I think it gets rid of all the old tissue and bring it back to new tissue growth finally.
Don’t give up hope .....this is definitely the way to go .

      Becky Boop
Well my tactics may be unorthodox and not recommended but the first time I dig mine out I used a brand new blade in my milwaukee utility knife.
I dig around the hard spot in the center from all sides and was able to get the seed part exposed.
Mind you it was softened after wearing one of those medicinal compound W foam sticker with the medicine in the center .
I wore that for a day then showered before I started digging at it.
So when I exposed the core it was fairly soft and seemed to have a tap root.
This could have been a wart for all I know but I’ll continue.
After getting the center dig out it was attached by a thin root so I pulled the whole thing out with tweezers and then pulled as much of the remaining root out with tweezers.
I bled a little and made sure I doused the entire are with rubbing alcohol then filled the pocket with neosporin and a band aid to finish it off.
I changed the bandaid as needed between showers next couple days until it was healed enough that I didn’t need the protection.
I thought I was free of this but after a few weeks I felt the pain coming back when I walked.
I could see a small white seed forming again in the center.
I would dig it out again about every three weeks with a new sharp blade...dull blades would not work.
Keep in mind the new seedlike centers seemed harder than the original core and never did seem to have that root attached
      like the original.
I got so tired of this procedure that I looked up online how others have done it.
That’s when I discovered the grater file thing.
I dig out the core after filing it down as much as possible while tender.
I reapplied the file as needed daily or every couple days until finally the new skin underneath was regenerated.
I think those compound W pads are too strong and that it really deadened a lot of the tissue around the core which made healing take longer.
Also this may have been a good thing and softened the original core enough to dig out the root .
Like I said it may have been a wart but it never was
anything other than a seedlike white bump
with a swelled circle around it and never swelled up like most wart you see so I do think it was a corn.
Anyways it took a lot of debreeding and I think that was the key to eradicating that pesky bastard.

As I age, I'm noticing that I'm getting more and more corns on the bottom and the edges of my feet. No matter how many times I pick them out, which is painful by the way, they just come right back in two or three months and I have to repeat the same painful process all over again! It's either that or endure pain with every step I take. I tried orthotics but that's really not helpful as I also develop painful blisters. Geez, I can't win! The corns are like having embedded small stones in my feet! I walk like a 90 year old man and I'm only 50! It's a constant battle! I use tweezers by the way to pick them out! Ouch! 😖😫

I have a corn 2 years ago and I am the only one who take care of it. I'm just lucky for having a dissecting kit since I am a psychology student. In that kit, there was a scalpel (the tool that the doctor used) and use it to myself. Of course, it sterilize it well. Then, ka-blam, my foot is free from corn!

when i removed mine there would be a crater for a while, then over time (months or maybe a year) i guess the skin and tissues fill it up till it looks like normal
