- Conditions are sloppy as the lads try to get the beetroot out of the ground. The crop is good this year so it is well worth the hardship.
Cathal catches up with the lads in the sprout field. Slow and steady wins the race before the rush of the Christmas sets in and then we will have to up the gears.....but for now things are going to plan. When you are enjoying them on Xmas Day spare a thought for all the hard work that goes into getting them from our field to your kitchen table! Fair play to the lads on the harvester getting the job done!
