I agree with you about KO WOORIM’S voice here. Alex, his voice is known as basso profundo, the rarest subtype of bass voice. Bae Doohoon, the 1st one who started to sing, is the baritone tenor in the group, but with a versatile range and tone. It’s what was lacking in the original…let’s be honest I never liked the original either in the first place😅 Forestella has been using their bass since the beginning with prominence as he learned to enhance his opera trained voice to be able to sing more contemporary music. This performance is in 2023. When you listen to Ko Woorim(surname 1st in Korean culture) in their early days, although stunning voice ,his range was a little limited in the very beginning , but he has been doing a lot of self-development over the years so that now he has quite an amazing range for someone who has a basso profundo voice. If u ever get a chance privately, look up his BLACK 000000 concert, fan cams only at the moment….his 1st solo 2day concert the last weekend of OCTOBER 2023…he shows us what his music tastes are and the range he can achieve. He can still sing without a microphone as all opera singers are trained to do. He has so much power,the trick has been learning how to control that .Currently doing military service til 19 May 2025. He doesn’t have much solo stuff, there are a few on his channel, because he was completing his Masters degree in Music ,Voice. MinGyu completed his Masters years ago and worked for Seoul Metropolitan Opera for a few years and is still the youngest to have joined them. Now, I don’t think we should overlook Bae Doohoon’s delivery in this song…I swear he must have been a Latino in a past life😅 He does a lot of work in this song all the way through to the end. Goes without saying each voice in this group played an important role to make me love this song…complete 180degree turnaround for me. When you isolate the music from the voices, you get a true understanding of who is doing what in their songs…Pao Carolina a reactor from ECUADOR, does this for Forestella performances. Sometimes it is not always obvious who is doing what with the music playing…they are very clever in what they do with their voices. I believe Kang HyungHo the soprano tenor and rock singer is the vocal arranger in the group and Bae Doohoon does staging. Cho MinGyu,also same opera training as Woorim, but 6 years his senior at same prestigious university , who came out last here , is their group’s leader and has an affinity for Spanish music especially tango, and loves the music of a bygone era in Argentinian Spanish! He did a live radio show KBS classicfm WORLD RADIO December ‘23 filmed and broadcast via RUclips called Merry Tango-mas ( not Christmas music) collating some previous solo performances that can be found on you tube under the names listed in that radio broadcast.…those are riveting too. Now, there’s not enough space here to talk about Kang HyungHo aka PITTA the rock-singer. He has dual careers now …he is PITTA for his solo rock/metal concerts and Kang Hyungho tenor soprano with Forestella. You will have to look that up when one day you decide to react to them as solo artists. BAE DOOHOON also has Dual careers with him being an active musical theatre performer…currently he is playing MARK in the musical RENT. By the way, they sang partly in Spanish before this in Ed Sheeran’s SHAPE OF YOU…you have never heard it done like this! Remember to put the copyright words across so you don’t get blocked.

I remember as a little girl at school, I could barely hear anything and I always had to turn to the right side to be able to hear. So when I grow up, I listen to the music through my right ear and, with my hand on the left speaker, I feel the vibrations. Let's just say it's my stereo way of listening.
This song, I didn´t like it when it came out, I hated it later on, Forestella is the only one that can make me listen to it willingly!!!! Other thing, WooRim (the guy you like) Is a Bass, if you hear him talk is almost the same tone that in this song. Though he can reach baritone. I think you would like to hear Scarborough fair or Inner universe (russian)
