What's up with all the hate anyway? People used to love this show 10 years ago. Went to see the guy in Vegas two months ago and he has the best magic show I have ever seen. He does 3 different levitations literally inches away from the audience, vanishes, teleports, and does close up magic with great skills. He's def a talented guy.

Basically the people who are "levitating" are just actors who are wearing a metal exoskeleton of sorts. The reason they are all coincidentally standing on mats or rugs or whatever is because their exoskeleton is hooked to an anchor underneath.

Actually not true. I saw his shows live in NYC before he became famous, and he blew us away. BUT, something's changed in him. I think it might just be the need, NEED, to do more and bigger and better than anyone else. Think about it: he's got a contract to fill up hours and hours of TV time virtually by himself. Far better magicians Penn & Teller are smart enough to have other magicians fill that time (on "Fool Us").

When Criss Angel lived at the Luxor Hotel...We went to Vegas and stayed in that Hotel..On the day we got ready to leave.. us and many many others looked up and Criss was on the floor above us all.. he climbed over the banister and easy peasy levitated and floated down to all of us... No strings attached no gimmick of any sort...Yes.. he can levitate... We all had our phones out and recorded him.. it was awesome!!! He is in the world book of Guinness for making 50 people disappear in a wrestling ring.. they were all handcuffed and sitting cross legged in the ring..Also there were the people from the Guinness book all around the ring when he performed the ultimate Magic to Garner a spot in the Guinness book.. They all were speechless..True story... Amen..

How to perform a Criss Angel illusion:
1. When selecting candidates, always make sure they are on the payroll.
2. Record with a $40,000 camera so the final product can be an over-exposed video in 240p.
3. Tell the cameraman to zoom in randomly, shake, and use awkward angles at all times.
4. Chop up the video in post-production to edit out anything that would mislead viewers into believing magic isn't happening.
he's actually a good stage magician but like most magicians today they use awful camera tricks.
