The problem that I'm having is deciding between Jacksonville and Dallas. Dallas seems cheaper on rent, yet Jax has the beach. I do know that both cities are better than living in Philly. I will bring my Eagles gear if I move down.
They are comparable. Visit both for 3 days if you can. In Dallas TX you have Addison, Las Colinas, Carrolton and lots of BEAUTIFUL suburban areas.
Properly taxes make it way more expensive if you own a house
Just Keep the Philly politics in PA. Assimilate

Is Addison a safe neighborhood too?
Used to be, but not as much anymore. Really all of Dallas has gone to shit...first Uptown, then Deep Ellum, and over the past year Addison joined the list. The only good areas in DFW are north of 380 now in Collin/Denton county
@@BillSmith-rg8hv I was in Addison a month ago. I find its ok. But I won't be back Dallas for a long time. maybe that's my first and last visit.
Addison is generally considered a safe and vibrant neighborhood... where do you live now?
