I love that you pointed out the spiritual aspects of decluttering our homes. It's more than just creating the physical space in our homes, it's about detaching from the material world and redirecting our focus inward.
This made me realize that I hold onto certain things hoping that I will feel like playing my guitar again"someday". I should give it to me son, who may use it more often than I do.
his was the BEST video on decluttering I’ve ever seen, it really helped me to get over the blocks I’ve had to get started on my massive buildup of stuff. Thank you 🙏🏻
There are *two* things I got from this video: 1. A confirmation, that it's easier to pick up some things that I want to keep instead of picking up some things I want to get rid of. alWhen I started decluttering, I wanted to sort out at least 3 things every day. I lost patience with this method, because it's stressful (especially when you try to do it just before you have to go to work!) and inefficient. Today I sorted out approximately 130 books in less than 2 hours, including cleaning them a bit from dust. In addition to your video I can say that it's helpful to think of how a book influenced you and to take it to a place where a younger person might find it and can learn from the same spirit. 2. The idea to make space for the person I'm going to become or that I already am. I love this idea, and I totally agree!
I can’t thank you enough for this video. I come from two hoarders so I’m working against long habits. As opposed to Swedish death or sparking joy approaches, your points are very refreshing. Very much what I needed, now.
I found this a really helpful video- ive been declutering and finding it hard to let go of some things and your point about the conscious and often sub conscious meaning attached to items really has helped me. x
Thank you ❤❤❤ i spontaneously did this a few weeks ago and after the results i searched ia decluttering a spiritual peactice and here i am. Lol. Thank you
Good news is you don't need to 'pull it off'. You could make this a non-committal experiment. Take a drawer, a shelf, a closet, take out your favourites and simply observe and evaluate what's left. Sometimes the visual cue's all we need to start reevaluating our stuff. No need to make a final decision about anything right then and there. You are in charge.

I am so ready to let go of more things in my life. I want to feel free.
Beautiful. Creating space doesn't mean fill it with new stuff. But let fresh energy flow and not get stagnant on stuff creating negetive energy

Thanks for sharing, Victoria. I'm glad this was helpful!
I have never seen it from that perspective. Thank you, it is a great help.
Oh and also realizing we may be thinking of an old version of ourselves, that may not come back for many reasons.
needed to see this. Need to make space for new energy for sure.
Knowing we need to make space can be the first important step to get going. Once we begin to make that space, we gain momentum so fast.
Great video! Very deep and helpful to look at clutter this way. It puts it in a different perspective. Thank u for sharing ❤

Subbed because I identify with the channel name. Also, because i am fascinated with decluttering.
Taking out what you want first was very good food for thought. Don't know if I can pull it off but hmm....Thanks.
