I really want an open world Adventure Time game to happen. My idea for this game would be a massive open world where there isn’t one specific goal, you can go out and explore and find dungeons if you want, but there are also events that happen in the world on their own, such as a huge monster roaming the land that is endangering people, so if you want to save them you can. These events wouldn’t necessarily need to be triggered manually, stuff can just happen. Some might be triggering manually, say you go through a dungeon and make it out, but theres a monster that is unleashed in doing so, now that monster is out in the world somewhere and if you find it, you should kill it to prevent disasters. I just really want an immersive Adventure Time game where you actually feel like you are Finn, theres just so much mystery about Ooo that id love to explore my self. Perhaps co-op could be a thing as well. I know it wont happen, but I can dream.
It sound like the new zeldas, open world, dungeons that you randomly enconter ( like sanctuarys) and things that happen, like side quests involving Monsters or saving someone, or simply searching things to help someone, classic side quest but a thing that Finn and Jake would do, and you could add a good plot involving a new enemy and in order to defeat him you have to do somethings but IS not obligatory, It would be heavily Zelda inspired but Who cares?

It's time for fans to create an adventure time game (I don't try to do this myself because I don't have a computer). I think of an adventure hour game being in an open world and with a much darker look and design (that golb designer when he transforms was very cool and sinister). An adventure time game would also be incredible if it drew inspiration from games like Zelda, Little Devil Inside, and even more so having a Batman Arknight combat system or Sekiro combat with a Dark Souls difficulty, having your enemies and boss learning your fighting style and modifying your fighting styles to eliminate you as soon as possible. I still have hope that an adventure time game will appear in these ways or even better.
What about Righteous Quest 2 and Lemon Break Righteous Quest was a side-scrolling platformer briefly following the original story where you beat enemies, did Mario-like puzzles and jumped on clouds and the like to find secrets. Lemon Break was also a side scroller but your job was to rescue the Lemon Kingdom's abused citizens. You unlocked different upgrades and did platforming to rescue the captives in every level and eventually reach the end. Both of these were like my childhood favourites
