I like both designs. I really like the wide low look of the Evolved though. Just looks more sleek (or something like that). There are some who really don't like the Evolved look, and I never understood just why. Yes, this little 440 definitely has a little snap to it. It is a lot of fun on the trails as well, which is where I do 97 percent of my riding. It did develop a darting issue toward the end of last years riding season. Was really a handful over 50MPH. Kind of like wrestling a Brama bull by the horns, LOL. I put on a pair of plastic skis this year, but due to a lack of winter, the new skis haven't even been off the trailer yet. ...Maybe next year? Anyways, thanks fer the comment. Sorry it took so long to reply.
@@thatalaskaguy The main two were the Wedge, followed by the Evolved. I think there was a short period of time when they actually made both at the same time (not 100 percent sure on that one though.), but man there were a lot of variations on those themes. Indy Trail, Indy Sport, Indy, Indy Classic, Indy XLT, and the list goes on. It was certainly an interesting time period for Polaris. I still think some of their best sleds came from that era.
@@NJP76 they did make the wedge at the same time as the Evolved and also had the aggressive body for some of the triple cylinder sleds. I agree, ☝️ think the sleds from that era were the best.
Very nice Indy Evolved chassis 440! My buddy had a ‘94 500 EFI in that chassis, quite a bit more refined than the standard wedge design.

@@NJP76 Thinking back it was crazy how many body styles Polaris offered back in the 90’s!
