This truly was the greatest pitching performance of all time and it should be recognized by Major League baseball somehow... Also, if I remember correctly, Lew Burdette did pretty well himself for the Braves...Great video, thanks for the memory.
Near perfect? He hurled 12 PERFECT innings. That's 3 more innings of perfection than anyone in baseball history!
😢I thought that it was ruled only a double since the batter passed the runner (Henry Aaron) on the bases. Am I wrong?
