There’s just not any minutes for him in the Celtics rotation so he’s in the G-League getting reps in rather than sitting around doing nothing lol it’s not like he’s there because the organization thinks he’s a bad player.. it’s just smart player development
Carsen should have gone higher in the draft, and should be playing off the bench for a team that needs a shooter, which is half the NBA teams, he just hapoen to go to the best team in the NBA, that doesn't need him. Waste of his talent.
@@bmcfonzie hope so, love that kids energy, and skill. He was my favorite player to watch in the NCAA last year. And after shooting 8 3's in one quarter during NBA summer league, I thought he might break through, and get more playing time.
@@jimmynorton600 carsen has only played in 3 games this year, once for 9 minutes against The Pels, and the 2 other times for 5 minutes at the end of another game, and 6 minutes at the end of another. Nobody can get any rhythm with that. Edwards was my favorite player to watch last year at Perdue. He was absolutely amazing and in the NBA preseason he was on fire which is typical for him. He's a shooter. And shooter need minutes to target up. I hope he goes to another team next year like the Pelicans
@@coachkesey nah, the C's know what they have in him that's why they haven't traded him yet. He'll get his opportunities, he just might have to wait until next year. He's played in 28 games this season btw.
@@TheSaint619 I hope so, because we love Celts. And love that Kid. He is a unique player. Built like a fullback, but his abilities on the court are amazing!
Celtics need size (Tacko) and scoring off the bench (Carsen) but neither get playing time. Instead Grant Williams (lacks size) and Romeo Langford (can't score) get more minutes. G. Williams is the biggest scrub on the team, but he's "a nice guy". SMH.
Simon Sez Yes he is but he’s in the G league right now - when I say original tenure I mean the 2-3 month stretch when he was getting 10-15 minutes with the Celtics before getting sent down to the G league (he has been there pretty consistently since)
Nicholas Pineau im not worried in the slightest about his development and i agree that he’s just a rookie and will need time. its just that he was thrown into the fire almost immediately as Stevens wanted him to be a reliable bench scorer from day 1. the role was and still is open for him, he just needs to adjust and eventually he will slot back into the regular rotation.
Carsen has such and efficient jumper and the strength to go inside and finish. Love to see him play more.
Hope to see some of this at the NBA level next season!
Tremont has got to be next
soon
the celtics need a guy off the bench that can create off offense. this guy needs to be in the big boy league
Let him play his game. He's not a system player.
Insane hes in the G league with his shooting abilities

BrutalAsBucs much more explosive than curry for sure
His time coming
If Pritchard is playing, Carsen Edwards needs to be playing ong
I love Carsen he went to my brothers college and love his play style🤩 he’s like a little steph curry🏀🙏

Antoine SINEAU yes

8 3's in one quarter in NBA summer league, nobody in the NBA has ever done that. EVER!
and he's in the G League? Wasted talent
You must not be watching him when he gets called up and plays on the Celtics. He looks horrible. But he’ll eventually get into his rhythm in Boston.

He reminds me of Pierre Jackson with a better jump shot.
People saying waste of talent didn't see how bad he was in his original tenure in the NBA
Original tenure? Isn’t he still signed to an NBA team?
Simon Sez Yes he is but he’s in the G league right now - when I say original tenure I mean the 2-3 month stretch when he was getting 10-15 minutes with the Celtics before getting sent down to the G league (he has been there pretty consistently since)
