  • Osho, a contemporary mystic speaks on virtually every aspect of human consciousness. In these talks, the human condition, whether the mind, the heart, love or awareness is exposed with humor and insight, as never before.
In this talk, 'I Always thought That I Loved Somebody', Osho with his singular perspective, points out, amongst his other insights, that love is not a commodity but a quality of being.
"The basic fallacy, that you are carrying within you is, that you always loved somebody.
This is one of the most significant things about all human beings; their love is always for somebody, it is addressed. ..."

As many others have said. So essentially the man who loses his legs in war its his choosing to accept and still be happy or not after. The starving children who are born in poverty can chose happiness. I find this one issue with all the greats and therefore in existence itself.

@@rainmaker3274 no matter what happens it’s the choosing. Sounds like your adding morality, that it’s not good, someone looses their leg or is born into poverty. It just is, for lack of a better way of putting it. It’s not good or bad, but still they, I must choose the circumstances as they are or suffer the consequence of resistance.

Those last sentences are absolutely incredible.
"Life is nothing but an opportunity for love to blossom. If you alive, the opportunity is there. Even to the last breath. You may have missed your whole life. Just the last breath, the last moment on the earth, if you can be love, you have not missed anything, because a single moment of love is equal to the whole eternity of love."
Thinking so radically different from the general Western approach. How awesome for me to witness these such different ideas.
It's not about whether Osho's words are true or false, it's about whether they become true for us. They can be experienced, and that is when the potential for the words to become true for us is realized.

Love is not something to be chased or something to direct onto a single person romantically, love is to be “radiated” from within you towards all directions in and beyond the universe. True Love can be only be truly received after it has been unconditionally given.

Question - What does Osho say for my question - 'Where does emotions come from i.e. love?' - Per science it does not come from the heart, but it comes from Amegdula which is part of brain, and this Amegdula just pumps heart when emotions flow from Amegdula to heart... so what does Osho say on where emotion comes from?

This is one of the most important discourses of all. Because everyone is so involved with this whole game, this false idea. And suffer endlessly because of it.
The more we love, the bigger is our being.
Its so obvious, and yet we delude ourselves.
It's the other side of the coin of meditation. We should be concerned with the expansion and enlightenment of our own consciousness, awareness and lovingness. Instead, everyone is completely other oriented.
Life should be such a tremendous blissfulness, rejoicing, benediction.
Osho! Enlightening the world 🌎 for those who will listen. We are blessed.

I believe what OSHO says here is true... It is why most marriages and second marriages etcetra... Don't work or last! Because we don't know the true sense of love... We only know the "fleshly" and egotistical sense of Love! The love he talks of is spiritual love similar to Monks, Priests and Nuns... It is very hard for the common man/woman to comprehend this especially when we are plugged into society through jobs, family, friends, society, media, government etc. Solitude is the way!

As Osho himself says his words are nothing but fire. You may get burnt sometimes. But approach with love, you will get transformed like fire melting and shaping the strongest and hardest metals. Only fire can lit more fire and give more light..

Osho is not here to teach, hes not here to make you guys understand something, he does not have a way of life, he is life and he is sharing what he truly beleives to be right. Listen to him, read about him, but forget about learning from him. There is nothing to learn, when you make something so hard it stays hard, he gives you a simple message, let it be like that.

We have been taught traditionally in every arena of our lives. I am one of them who have been gone through the same teachings as parents but I have been advanced just because of the teachings of Osho and other worldwide speakers and thinkers who influenced me in every area of life. I have been changed spiritually, mentally, and physically.
