- I've had this sitting around on my laptop for about a year, because I was never really happy with it, but I fixed a few drum fills and it sounds alright now I guess. I never understood the hate that Plant Man got though, he's pretty cool to me.

Plant Man was always one of my favorite MM6 Robot Masters. But when placed alongside warriors like Tomahawk Man, Centaur Man, Knight Man and even Flame and Blizzard Man, a plant tends to be overlooked. Yet how many flames are out there? How many blizzards? To wit, how many knights and centaurs are around today? Plants outnumber them all. Even the most innocuous-looking flowers can prove deadly. Besides, Plant Man can at least say he's probably been in more games than the other MM6 robots, barring Centaur Man.

There are actually 2 Plant mans in mega man 7 (or Plant men idk) one near the museum entrense and one near the boss gate

Fun fact: Plant Man is actually based off the Sapria Himalayana: a parasitic flower that uses it's host's body to fill it's water supply. So yeah - lesson for the haters: if you mock Plant Man, that's the Sapria Himalayana you're mocking. Big mistake, haters. BIG fucking mistake.
And also, calling Plant Man's battle a joke? HE'S NEAR QUICK MAN LEVELS OF UNPREDICTABLE. He takes elements from previous Robot Masters for his battle, as his whole trait is being a parasite - meaning that he learned these techniques from using the traits of the plant he was based on to his advantage: his Buster can summon his special weapon (taken from Skull Man - who's weapon is practically fucking useless compared to the Plant Barrier (which can actually hurt enemies with shields)), he does a regular jump similar to Stone Man (Plant Man doesn't do the Super Jump that Stone Man does), running towards Mega Man in a manner similar to Quick Man (albeit a bit slower), and then jumping back to his side of the arena in a manner similar to Gemini Man.
Plus, remember when I said the Skull Barrier was useless compared to the Plant Barrier? I MEANT IT. Unlike the Skull Barrier, the Plant Barrier can actually KILL shielded enemies. Yes, it's just as durable as the Skull Barrier, but my point still stands.
I think Plant Man looks awesome, especially with those vines coming out of him, which he could use to tie up his enemies

I don’t know if it’s intentional, but plant man is actually very close in appearance to the rafflesia arnoldii, which is not only the worlds largest flower, but it’s also carnivorous

This is actually better than the official RockMan Complete Works arrangement because it keeps the same pitch of the original. The Complete Works arrangement sounds too jovial.
I love Plant Man. And, Mega Man 6 is one of my favorite games of all time. To me, Mega Man 6 has the best soundtrack of all the 8-bit games (including 9 & 10); there's not a single song in this game I dislike or get bored with as in other games. Also, MM6 is hands down, the best looking 8-bit game (again, including 9 & 10). The colors, the details, the distinctive locations, and the character sprites are superb. The best looking sprite in this game has got to be Plant Man. He's so richly detailed and full of color that he looks like he belongs in a Master System game rather than on the NES. Seriously, compare him to all other robot masters from Mega Man 1-5, 9 & 10. Great as most of them look, Plant Man is by far the best looking one.
My top three favorite Robot Masters are Splash Woman, Freeze Man, and Plant Man. All of them have a reoccurring theme: BEING HARD AS F**K.

I always hated those big robots with the fists and tank treads. They were too hard to kill and forced me to farm for health before finding fighting the boss.

There is indeed. I think he uses Power Battle/Power Fighters, MvC1, and other CPS2 samples into his remixes

I'm surprised he actually did your request (intentional or not), but I find it even more amusing that someone asked for Toad Man... who didn't get much love. So, I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who liked Toad Man's theme.
