Omg that’s the saddest thing I’ve ever heard. I’m so so sorry for your losses. This is a beautiful song and does help put things into perspective. God Bless you. I hope He brings you happiness and great memories of your sons.
@@elanacarlson3 Exactly. I think most everyone does 1 of 2 things when they get older. They either gain weight, or they lose weight. Rarely is anyone the same in their 60's or 70's as they were in their 30's and 40's.
My Aunt Becky died of Colon Cancer back in 2001, but she absolutely loved this song and always reminds me of her. I think it’s his greatest song ever made.
When I was in my 20s, I thought this song was insanely boring. I'm now 39, married and with three kids and this song is probably the most emotional and thought provoking song I've heard.
I’m in my 20s now and buddy this song had me in my feels since I heard it first as a little kid. I’ll give you one thing, it’s one of the few songs that hits harder and harder with each year that passes by
We have a line dance to this song. Our beloved, late, instructor loved the song so much, he would lose himself in the lyrics and forget the steps to the dance. There is a lot of nostalgia in that song. Warm memories. Thank you Tracy.
His voice definitely has aged haha. There’s a clear difference in the way he used to sound vs now. Even back in 2017, the good ol days album shows a big contrast and more in depth redos in the hindsight 2020 albums. I like the aging, but if you don’t hear it, you’re partially deaf lol
I first saw Tracy in concert in Amarillo, Tx about 40 years ago. I’m here just thinking about the changes since then. Marriages, births, deaths, loves, loves lost. “Time Marches On”
Trace hey! I have loved your songs but I have a big problem back few months telling me a lot of money and pickup but not concern of truck but your company has bankrupt me and I have lost everything 😢
@@Tracylawrence03296 Yes Trace if this is really you . A guy name Patrick saying he was working for you telling me you chose me as a winner of a pickup and a million dollars $ till he worked it telling me had to pay for takes and stuff like and hate to put it on hear but I am 73 and only live off of social security got my bank taken away from a fraudulent check that I am having to re-pay back to the bank but I just finally I couldn’t pay it and they took my account away from me and they had me taking money from my cards and then they were giving me checks to cover it plus mower and then after a while, those chicks come back and then they would say well that was the wrong account. They give another one minute would come back and anyway my bank I mean card places took my cards away and they racked up the bills and now the interest rate is Paul end up on him I owe close to 9000 on one card and the other two cards are probably lingering on close to that and as of this weekend, I’m having to sell everything in my house and my house I have lost my life insurance I have lost everything and yes I guess it was stupid of me believing that but it all sounded so good and I was really impressed cause I had never won anything especially coming from you. They even had someone to talk for you which I didn’t really think it sounded like you, but kept saying that yeah it was that if you would like to contact me, you could contact me at 940-781-4220 and if this is you apologize for putting it on here but I have no way of reaching you has took me to bankruptcy
@@Tracylawrence03296 Tracy do you allow people working for you to do what was done to me kind of runs me even liking your music which is hard to say because I grew up with it being 73 believing in you.
Saw both of you in September and October 2022 at Floore's Country Store in Helotes, TX (San Antonio). Both of you were fabulous! Can wait until you come back! Btw, your fiddle player is fantastic! Loved his rendition of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia"
90s country was another level

Sorry about your Aunt Becky. That song is special to me to. Reminds me of how great yesterday was as a younger man. God Bless you.
I grew up listening to Tracy Lawrence and Clay Walker! Two of the best voices ever in country music! 👏
Agreed
I agree
I’m not sure about that one but yes they’re up there with the best I’d say
Travis Tritt was there
I've seen him 10x in concert 🎉and he never disappoints me!
This is music when you can just sit down and do it. No machines for his voice. Damn he still sounds amazing.
good lord this man sounds just like he did 25 years ago...Amazing
My thoughts exactly 💯
When I was in my 20s, I thought this song was insanely boring. I'm now 39, married and with three kids and this song is probably the most emotional and thought provoking song I've heard.

I absolutely love to hear this man sing I have been a very very big fan of his since 1991 love his voice and music always.
He still has that great unique voice. Great stuff. Still have that song in my favs.

Wow. I love Tracy. A huge part of the early nineties rebirth of country music.Clay Walker too.

SImpy excellent. The arrangement is so on point. I enjoyed every single note.

Beautiful! The guy on the fiddle is amazing!!
Was a pleasure to see you tonight tracy knoxville appreciates you brother.
And time has *marched* on!!
Why can't they *still* make country like this??
The Hank Williams' songs were Kaw-Liga, 1953 & Dear John, 1951
Bob Dylan, Like a Rolling Stone was 1965
Man he sounds great, best era of country music
Even without the whole band his voice can still make this song just amazing
Thanks Tracy,
And Clay Walker as well……Superb band and great job all around boys! Thank you.🎶
Now that's country music, folks.
Late 80’s early 90’s country will never be beat !!
Miss the old country
I recently saw him on tour with Brad Paisley and they're both incredibly talented!! What a great clip. He still sounds the same his voice hasn't aged

@MLGB0Yz it's not a huge difference tho. Some artist really loose or their voice changes drastically later in life.

time marches on and life is so short its sad most of us spend so much time being sad

music the way it should be !
This is definitely country. Radio oriented bro country or new country is nothing more than pop music with rock guitars and a country twang.
Gave me straight chill bumps ❤❤❤
What a great song.
Great fiddle player and smooth back up vocals
