Ive seen whifbitz have a A80 ZF8HP swapped Supra, that's literally the best way to go for drag racing
@@X1xRiGox3X not even for just drag racing, best gearbox in all situations especially being a daily driver. Very smooth and reliable box will take the abuse all day everyday and if goes wrong you can get another box for £500.
Luke is a great guy, with a great car. He is always the same kind of guy and his car isn't too shabby 😁😁
The problem with the MKIV was the bumps in the runway were so bad the battery connection in the boot came loose - the top end of the run had no ignition!! Also my supra has never had a manual box - it used to be the 4 speed auto.

Either way each shift slows him down drastically compared to both auto cars so he was still at a huge disadvantage

Always cool when a original tuned engine (CA18DET, SR20(1)DET) beats another not even in the same "weight" class Toyota... I'm mean Supras is meant for competing against Skyline GT-R's and GTR's :-)
The new supra is sick. Good 1/4 mile and 0-60 time for 550bhp RWD. S15 did good on the roll race but for 1/4 mile you defo need new auto box or at least a DCT. Manuals aren’t going to cut it. Good race. 👍

Wouldn't say the Nissan won the first race against the first supra it was ahead by a bit on the line still a great race, was slightly ahead on first roll race against the second supra as well but wiped the floor with it by a a superb initial pull, again another class race. Can't take anything away from the Nissan that car is freakishly quick and is proper good looking.
Luke’s S15 is a big favourite always but the A90 Supra with those 305 section rears was always gonna grip and go from a stand still. These DCT equipped cars are always having something go wrong. They need to go sequential or stay manual.
Mate you need to do something about those Prius tires.

What we can get from this is Lukes S15 is definitely the power he claims. Some of the cars that come on OG battles, their power is a bit suspect/ambitious. That S15 is a monster and it proves it

Leaving the supra with the manual box makes more sense. I think some people who maybe find the car is not performing as they would like put the blame on it being a manual hence going dct...maybe the problem is with the drivers as a manual can be quick

I have an M140i ZF8 stg1 400hp, my brother has S14A 400hp I pull slightly 1 car, only because my auto shifts are quicker also I start in 4th gear him 3rd so gear ratio is almost the same so it's all about the engine and not the transmission SR20DET is a beast! 60-130mph Autobahn. His car weight 1230kg without driver weighed, my car 1,475kg without a driver BMW owners manual.
Isn't the DCT from the M3/M4 made by GETRAG? The same GETRAG that made the legendary V160 6-speed manual used in the MK4 Supra.
