General concensus is the most beautiful cars ever made were built around the 1960's. Best sounding: Again subjective, do you like turbos, superchargers, NA Induction.... A lot of people claim the BRM V16 (1.5L supercharged) is the greatest sounding engine ever made another strong contender would be the Mazda R26B (4 Rotor) found in the 787B.

I like SR's, I really do. But unpopular opinion - they sound like garbage. Like a farty wasp being kicked around in a can. The only thing worse is a straight piped 350z....
They can sound good with the right work done, but most don't. Stock cams with big cannon exhausts and bush bearing turbos is what usually runs rampant and it doesn't show off their potential!
