Hey man! I don't usually comment but I loved this video! Might get myself one of these. Btw planning on being in the streams more often! Life's been hectic, but you've helped me through a lot of stuff.
@@Drumkid190 Hey, thank you bro, I really appreciate that! And it's a pretty awesome device. First of it's kind. Definitely one to consider! Stoked to hear you'll be in the streams more. Sorry to hear things have been hectic. Hopefully it's calming down a little for you. I'm happy I have been a help, I'm honored bro. Thanks for watching btw!
As a programmer, im seriously thinking of how much i move my hands from keyboard to mouse , this could be a game changer. Potential showstopper though, I cant install software on my Work PC. Does the mouse part work without software?
Actually thinking about it more, this keyboard could be really awesome or really frustrating. When programming on laptops the worst thing is placing the cursor where you want and then accidently touching the trackpad and It moves the cursor, so now you're typing in the wrong spot. There's a real danger of this happening with this.
@@antjones2281 Yes, this keyboard doesn't need software to run. It's ready to go out of the box. The software only allows you to customize the features. You could do that from any computer though. It saves the settings to the keyboard itself. So once you set it up how you like, then you can plug it into any computer and it'll keep those settings as far as I understand.
Wish you would have put it side to side with the razer blackwidow rather than just teasing that you have it sitting there to compare to .. One of my main concerns thinking of buying this is that it looks like it might be small, I can't really tell, maybe your hands are just huge
@@dadehax0r I actually don't have the blackwidow to compare it to. That was a Corsair K70 Rapid Fire. But they are really two completely different types of use cases. Although I wouldn't mind testing out the blackwidow.
@@Marthisdil You definitely could, but it depends on your use case. This can control three devices completely without needing a mouse and keyboard for each one.
@@EagleGarrett that's what I'm saying. I think it's priced so high because of that feature and I would t even use it. But I agree it's a great keyboard
@@EagleGarrett I can see this replace everyday keyboards. Much more effecient when it comes to normal workflow. Love MacOS gestures, so to have that on windows would be nice. But, trackpad on keys does worry me, as it's shared functionality. If a key dies, then does that part of the trackpad die, or how is it programmed? I also like to have my left hand resting on the keys and track with my right hand. Guessing I'd have to hover my hand over the keys whole I "mouse" around.
@@ErwinYi Great questions! So on my initial testing, it feels very intuitive. Like I don't notice issue when using it, it just works. But I'll have to test the one hand resting on keys and the other moving. It's not a way I normally use the keyboard so I didn't think about it. Also, if a keys dies, I'll need to look into what that would initial replacement wise. But great things to bring up! I will say, besides gaming, this is probably one of the best options for everyday workflow.
@@EagleGarrett That's the main problem with mainstream keyboards. And this one didn't address it. Therefore, it can be "innovative" and "advanced". But I'm glad you like it.
@@Kangoshi_ru Agree to disagree. I think keyboard layout is tried and true. People are used to it and it works really well. There are crazy designs and layouts but they are more niche because people don't like them as much. This is more focused on the actual function of the keyboard with is innovative and really advanced compared to all others on the market. But if you're looking strictly at layout design, I can see your point. It doesn't iterate on design layout. But that wasn't their purpose or goal.
