Who was the guitarist who recorded that for the trailer? Sounds a lot like Joe Satriani to me.

I really don't know... but for a moment I did think of Satriani! The only thing that can be found on the web is that the director decided to use John Williams' versions and based on that the composer John Murphy made the arrangement... but it doesn't say who recorded the guitar... it was still a great job!
