Hi. Thanks so much for stopping by my channel and watching my 80's video. I'm so sorry you didn't find some of these TV shows in my video, but there is a very good reason why. Punky Brewster is actually included in my Kid's TV Shows Intros video. You can watch that video here: ruclips.net/video/OgRGxEkBejg/видео.html - and CHiPs, Dukes of Hazzard, All in the Family, Happy Days, MASH, Sanford and Son, Lavern and Shirley, Facts of Life, Fantasy Island, The Love Boat, The Six Million Dollar Man, and The Incredible Hulk are all included in my 1970s Most Popular TV Intros, because those shows all began back in the 1970's. You can watch that video here: ruclips.net/video/MfPaG0xGv50/видео.html - Growing Pains is actually included in this video here, you can locate it at the 9 minute 52 second mark - I originally had included Knight Rider, the Cosby Show, and Miami Vice in this video here, but RUclips always would block my entire video all because of copyright, so before they would allow any part of my video to be uploaded and viewable, I eventually had to remove them from the video, which was sad because to me those shows were also a big part of the 80's, but it had to be done in order for my video to become viewable. As far as WKRP and Starkey and Hutch, both of those shows are from the 70's, and this is my 80's TV Show Intros video. And as far as the Monkees, that show began in the late 60's. And finally, as far as Airwolf, Max Headrum, and The Fall Guy, yes they were 80's shows and now I know and realize they would have been great to have been included in my video, but last year whenever I was putting together all the different 80's TV show Intros, those 3 shows, and I've come across several more that should've been included, just didn't come to mind at the time, and I didn't add them to my collection to put in my video. So I apologize for that. But other than that, you should find the other shows you mentioned, in my 2 other videos. I've provided links for those videos. I hope you enjoy them as well. Thank you again for your feedback. It is appreciated. I'm just glad you took the time to stop by and watch my video and to comment. It really does mean a lot. I work hard on all of my videos and I try to do the very best I can on them. I am truly sorry if I don't always make my videos exactly the way they would like them to be. I always go by what I considered to be my favorites as well as others I remember being popular at the time, but my memory isn't the greatest anymore. I should've done a little bit more research and refreshed my memory I guess. Anyways, thanks so much for the comment. Take care.

I agree I can feel taken back with my sisters sitting on our bean bags and snacking and watching these shows! Simpler times and you had to rush through commercial breaks for there was no pause button lol
Born in 1972, I had the best of the 70s & 80s. Blessed to have been a teenager without social media or cell phones! We were truly free & pretty badass!
I was born in 77 and a latchkey kid, I rode the bus to our apartment and let myself in with the key on a piece of orange yarn around my neck. I watched TV and ate cheese and crackers until my older brother and sister got home an hour later and our Mom didn't get home until an hour and a half after that. I was in kindergarten. But those were the best times of my life!
My entire family would sit and watch these shows while eating popcorn, making chocolate milk shakes and pizza on Friday nights, along with staying up late on weekends..gosh I’m so glad I was alive in those times!!!!
Grew up in the 80s...I didn't like very many of the family sitcoms...they all seemed to be the same thing...the 80s were awesome for horror shows like Tales from the Darkside, Monsters and Unsolved Mysteries.
I do agree, but people were tired of having their intelligence insulted by not having an authentic show. They all seemed too good to be near real. That's why Home Improvement and Roseanne and Seinfeld all did well....they were almost realistic. Tikes changed and I too long for the good old days.
I'm a portuguese dude, born in 78. Have the fortune to watch a lot of this shows. Love growing up in the 80s. Everything was so awesome, so magic, so happy. So different from today.

1980s: the future will be amazing! 2000s: the future could be amazing! 2022: bring back my amazing childhood.
Born in ‘71, the 80’s were the best. These opening songs just bring it back for me. Life just seemed so simple back then. Of course prob like most people, we only had 1 tv in the house, so we watched after school and on Saturday daytime. I did see most of these shows now and then, some I don’t know. The drama shows that were prime time I didn’t always get too watch because that was dads time with the tv 😂 I still watch some sitcom reruns to this day when they’re on certain channels. It was funny to see the actors/actresses back then, especially on shows that I never watched, especially so young!
I used to spend all day out until just before dark in the summer holidays or on weekends when I was a kid back in the 80's. But, let me tell you, when The A Team began showing, here in the UK on a Saturday (or Friday) afternoon I didn't care how much fun I was having outside, I came running home to make sure I didn't miss this magnificent show. There are several other shows here too, that caused me to happily cut short my playtime.
When TV was my babysitter. My mom would sit us down and we would watch literally almost every show on this video. Only 5 chanels. 3 major networks. Nowadays there's over a million channels, Netflix, hbo max etc....and you still can't find nothing to watch. 70s and 80s were awesome to grow up in
This right here is 1000% true. How we have cable and we can't find a thing to watch but we all stop on the old tv shows when we see them on. They need make a dedicated 80s channel.
@@ThomasRodriguez I definitely agree. When Nick At Nite first started they showed all the shows from the 50s, 60s and 70s. They got like everybody else.
I miss the 80s. Things have changed so much since then, and none at all for the better. I feel sorry for kids these days, who will never have as much fun as we did growing up, ever.
RIP to all those actors who starred in these 80’s sitcoms, that are no longer with us. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world and entertaining us. Way too many to mention, but are greatly missed. 80’s was definitely a good time. You had to be there! 💙
This brought back so many wonderful memories for me. I was born in 73 and the 80's was just the best decade ever. Everything about it from the music to these TV shows to spending QUALITY time with my family. I see the comments about no social media and I have thought about that a lot of how much I miss the days of not being tied to a cell phone and really enjoying life more then.
Man, the nostalgia hit hard when I started hearing all these tunes. I was born in 1970 and loved growing up in the 80's. Anyone got one of those time machines like Uncle Rico? You know, with the crystals and all.
Knight Rider, Miami Vice, Dallas, Knots Landing, Hill Street Blues, St Elsewhere, The Cosby Show, A Different World, The Jefferson, Amen, some of my favorites from the 80’s. We were blessed to grow up in that special decade. We had MJ, Prince, Madonna , George Michael and Boy George, Duran Duran . I could go on and on and on
Aww what a great trip down memory lane. There were sooooo many shows and there was no way to fit them all in. There is no time like the 80’s. Miss those days like crazy.
I am from Mexico. I have never been in the states but when I see these intros. Let me tell you. This is the USA I have in my mind. I use to watch some of these series. I've always loved how houses look and how clean is everything. It would be nice to have a channel broadcasting all these nice series.
I always think it’s short sighted when modern shows don’t have a defining them tune. I wonder what Mike Post, who created so many of those theme tunes, thinks about it.
Idk. There are some shows with great theme songs recently. Like Game of Thrones, Stranger Things, The Big Bang Theory, Bob’s Burgers, Family Guy, South Park, and so many others. These are classic, but there are some modern ones that are cool too.
They all legend tv Themes u know most that Bill Medley one to Just The Ten Of Us kicks butt never thought that he just came off doing I've Had The Time Of My Life he wasn't wrong we loved it just as much wish for it again can go on about it make a big statement ive done on other things on You Tube when we had the last couple of years of Lockdowns the World had with Corona
Damn, pretty sure after listening to this, we all miss the 80's! We took these shows and themes for granted, and now, they are worth more than anything in the world because they remind us how fortunate we were to be there at that moment in time!
I started Kindergarten in Fall of 1980 and entered high school in Fall of '89 which made me realize I literally grew up in the 1980s. I love TV from the 50s-70s, too but there was just something so perfect about what we were lucky enough to experience. I miss it, too!
The Cheers theme takes me back to being about 10 years old watching my dad watching the show religiously. Every time I hear the intro, I tear up..gone 17 years but not forgotten x
I was 14 when it premiered. The only show I watched from the beginning. The only episodes that I missed on the first go round was March through May 1988 and that was because I was living on Parris Island for 13 weeks. I must admit that I shed a tear when Sam said "sorry we're closed".
It’s sad and yet so incredibly reassuring to see I’m not the only one who truly misses 80s TV and I miss the music and clothes and hairstyles too🎉 Am I Mentally Deranged 😂❤
I was born in 86' and basically grew up and developed in the 90's, which I just loved, simply amazing times. Even though I didn't experienced the 80's, I still wish that I did. 😊
Lots of shows about families, most of them lighthearted, life drama with a positive spin or comedies. Today none of the TV/Stream shows seem to portray families, much less together anymore.
Watching this was almost depressing.Makes me think of my mom ,Granny & watching these shows with them . Also reminds me that this time frame was some of the best times of my life . Although in 1989 I was only 9 I want to say I remember 90% of these show intros . I guess because my mom would watch reruns of the early 80s shows . I wish I knew how epic the 80s and the 90s were back then . ❤ Thanks for the trip down memory lane ❤
227's Jackée has been starring on Days Of Our Lives in recent weeks, and even Marla Gibbs made a couple appearances in the beginning, and the 227 references were priceless.
I literally only came here to see if the Golden Girl’s theme song ( 12:46 ) would play… and it did! Also, thank you so much for playing the whole song, and for being a friend. 💕😊
Heart and Soul like the Songs the Shows had and full of Happiness wonder they look back and said we conquered the World what we did true legends the people that were part of
Ah, the 80’s! A decade with so much personality like no other. The music, style, and the best TV sitcoms EVER! It always jerks tears from my eyes whenever I hear the theme songs from shows like ‘Growing Pains’, ‘Who’s the Boss’, and ‘Family Ties’!
@@edp3202 To paraphrase Hans Gruber regarding the 80's fashion and hair, "These are minor inconveniences only!" I'm 100% with the OP on this one; no decade, before or since, has come close to matching the 80's!
What a great crop of Shows.. they don't make them like that anymore...great Music, both Instrumental and Vocal..I was singing right along with a lot of them.. Thank you for Posting.
Born in '77. I may not have seen all the shows but I know these songs! Brings back so many memories of a different time before Smartphones, before Netflix, when we only had a few shows to choose from and the whole family gathered to watch our favorite shows. I am glad to have grown in that time before 9/11, Columbine, without the worries that young people have in 2022.
I was born in '77 and there were at least 3 I'd never even heard of but they probably came on a different channel at the same time as one of my favorite shows came on. That or while I was in school. I always thought soap operas were the only thing that ran during school hours though. That's probably not true but I did think that growing up. I remember coming home from school just in time for He-man, transformers and G.I. Joe. Then I had to do my stupid homework. 😩
@@TRoxanne54 I think most people watched a lot TV 📺 back then. Now a huge amount are watching RUclips videos. It’s just not the same even if it’s better now in many ways.
It is sad so many actors from Night Court and other shows are gone now. Many weren't even that old. Alan Thicke, Markie Post, Harry Anderson and several others.
I am a fan of several of these 1980s television shows, including Saturday morning and weekday afternoon cartoons. I was born in 1975, and I feel like the 1980s and 1990s were the most enjoyable decades of my life.
What a time to grow up...Such a great economy, a family's decade...the nuclear family was celebrated on most every show. My God how things have changed....we'll never get that time back, but we'll never lose it thanks to videos like this. We'll done, 🍻 and God Bless
@@lucianboar3489 🤣 Married with Children was one of my favorites as well. Still a nuclear family...just a dysfunctional one🤣...Al Bundy : Well, son, you're a man know. Noise of Helicopter blades rotating followed by "10 years ago a crack commando unit was sent to prison for a crime they didn't commit...." best opening to any tv show ever 🙌
I'm so glad that I had a chance to be a young kid in the 80s. A lot of these shows and their theme songs were a signal that it was bedtime. It was a great time. Everything from watching TV together as a family in the living room, eating dinner together, and taking trips to the grocery store....everything was simple and fun. Today things don't seem as fun. I can't go to the grocery store and sample candy from the big candy bins, and we have countless TV stations, back then our TV had two dials. The top dial had 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 9, 20, and channel U. The bottom dial, I don't know what it was for haha! We then upgraded to a TV that had a remote, and more channels and that's when being in the living room became really fun! There are many other great shows that didn't make it in this video but it seemed like every show back then was great. Thank you for uploading this video. Now I'm sitting here listening to these theme songs play while thinking about life back then.

Now that I look around I see so many people have passed away and those that are still here from these great shows look nothing like they did. But all in all we lived in the last best decades in America and we were lucky to have lived it …what a party it was ..

Just learning about the world in general. I hope when its my time and as they say our life flashes by, i hope, for that time, i can relive those times.... and have a smile on my face.... knowing it was a great moment.

Agreed sis👍🏾, born the same year September badass! On bikes drinking water out of the holes. If we went in the house NAP TIME 🙄😬
I agree I was born in 70 we had the best times 🤗😄
May 72' We had it good....
May 1972. Great music, movies, and TV shows. Thank goodness there was no social media, especially TikTok.
My entire family would sit and watch these shows while eating popcorn, making chocolate milk shakes and pizza on Friday nights, along with staying up late on weekends..gosh I’m so glad I was alive in those times!!!!
Friday night TGIF then Saturday morning cartoons. The best part of the week.
I wish I could go back and live this decade over and over again! Best decade of my life!
I miss the 80s so much that it hurts.
The 80s felt like such a great time for families. Thanks for the stroll back in time 😌
Grew up in the 80s...I didn't like very many of the family sitcoms...they all seemed to be the same thing...the 80s were awesome for horror shows like Tales from the Darkside, Monsters and Unsolved Mysteries.
@@ferox965 How old are you now?
@@abhimanyu3704 44.
@@ferox965 I'm glad to know,Sir.
I do agree, but people were tired of having their intelligence insulted by not having an authentic show. They all seemed too good to be near real. That's why Home Improvement and Roseanne and Seinfeld all did well....they were almost realistic. Tikes changed and I too long for the good old days.
Life was great and much simpler back then
I'm a portuguese dude, born in 78. Have the fortune to watch a lot of this shows. Love growing up in the 80s. Everything was so awesome, so magic, so happy. So different from today.
1980s: the future will be amazing!
2000s: the future could be amazing!
2022: bring back my amazing childhood.
I just can't take this nostalgia. I miss that we'll never go back to a time like this.
It pulls at the heart strings.
Things seem so innocent compared to now.
It's nostalgia on over-drive! Based on the shows, I am guessing you a little bit older than me (not necessarily all that much older, though?).
ikr i wish a world like that lasted until now
So sad but so true
80s rocked TV. Miss those great shows we grew up with
Born in ‘71, the 80’s were the best.
Sniff sniff!!! 😢 😭I miss my childhood!!! Bring it back!
Ikr 😭
I'm with you. Somebody needs to invent a time machine and send me back. I shall not return.
@Carmen Delgado I feel the same way. 😭The 80s had awesome music, too. 🎶🎧
@@vinmanoct1279 AGREED!
Those were the best years of our lives, love the 80s ❤️💯
I used to spend all day out until just before dark in the summer holidays or on weekends when I was a kid back in the 80's. But, let me tell you, when The A Team began showing, here in the UK on a Saturday (or Friday) afternoon I didn't care how much fun I was having outside, I came running home to make sure I didn't miss this magnificent show. There are several other shows here too, that caused me to happily cut short my playtime.
💕💕💕😭😭😭🙏🏾🙏🏾😊 Can't believe I still remembered most of the songs. This had me in tears memories of my childhood born in 1977. Thank you
Me too! Born at the tail end of 77 and remembered every one of these. So much nostalgia for my childhood. Miss those days.
Same.. Jan 77.
When TV was my babysitter. My mom would sit us down and we would watch literally almost every show on this video. Only 5 chanels. 3 major networks. Nowadays there's over a million channels, Netflix, hbo max etc....and you still can't find nothing to watch.
70s and 80s were awesome to grow up in
The most resonating statement I have heard in my lifetime 🤣
This right here is 1000% true. How we have cable and we can't find a thing to watch but we all stop on the old tv shows when we see them on. They need make a dedicated 80s channel.
@@vinmanoct1279 I would settle for Nick at Night to return and one channel that played all the best 80s shows all day
@@ThomasRodriguez I definitely agree. When Nick At Nite first started they showed all the shows from the 50s, 60s and 70s. They got like everybody else.
So true 😊
I miss the 80s. Things have changed so much since then, and none at all for the better. I feel sorry for kids these days, who will never have as much fun as we did growing up, ever.
Totally agree 👍
They have video games, netflix, memes and tiktok. I'm sure they're fine
The 80s was BY FARRRRRRRRRR the best for TV shows, movies, and music.
The amount of actors from these shows that are no longer with us or have retired is depressing 😢
RIP to all those actors who starred in these 80’s sitcoms, that are no longer with us. Thank you for sharing your gifts with the world and entertaining us. Way too many to mention, but are greatly missed. 80’s was definitely a good time. You had to be there! 💙
We just lost Angela Landsbury and of course Betty White as well

This brought back so many wonderful memories for me. I was born in 73 and the 80's was just the best decade ever. Everything about it from the music to these TV shows to spending QUALITY time with my family. I see the comments about no social media and I have thought about that a lot of how much I miss the days of not being tied to a cell phone and really enjoying life more then.
I was born in 73 and would not trade anything for my childhood

I could go on and on and on
A lot of people forget about "Amen." That was such a great show.
So many great memories.. Cheers is tough to beat. RIP Kirstie Alley
OMG!! I'm shocked. I had no idea she died a few months ago, I can't believe it. All the great artists from back then are disappearing.
Ooo
Proud to have lived the 80s. The best times. Wish I could go back.
The theme songs to these tv shows are classic! No show today has anything near this at all
we dont have the patience for long ass theme song’s anymore thats why 😅
Most of today’s shows don’t even have theme songs. Just a little music that fails to draw your interest.
If I could go back, I would definitely go back to the 80s.
Imagine reliving it knowing a nuke war wouldn’t happen. Glorious decade
I’d go back and hug my mom and dad who have passed. Like gigantic hugs.

These and those Saturday morning cartoons in the 80's!! My kids will never understand how awesome it was back then.
Damn, pretty sure after listening to this, we all miss the 80's! We took these shows and themes for granted, and now, they are worth more than anything in the world because they remind us how fortunate we were to be there at that moment in time!
Hopefully they keep these going for years but I dunno with cancel culture crap we need to ban cancel culture

I started Kindergarten in Fall of 1980 and entered high school in Fall of '89 which made me realize I literally grew up in the 1980s. I love TV from the 50s-70s, too but there was just something so perfect about what we were lucky enough to experience. I miss it, too!
Me too. Started school the same year. I watched all the 60s-70s repeats on tv. I still watch them now.
Nick at Nite during the 80’s baby!
Makes you feel even older. Knowing a lot of the actors from these shows are no longer with us.
Born in 74, 6-16 1/2 was when I lived through the 80s.
Oh how I wish I could go back and just stay there.
The Cheers theme takes me back to being about 10 years old watching my dad watching the show religiously. Every time I hear the intro, I tear up..gone 17 years but not forgotten x
decent show, watch the episodes
I haven't watched the show at all. Just the quality of the theme song moves me to tears.
Not as dangerous as religion
I was 14 when it premiered. The only show I watched from the beginning. The only episodes that I missed on the first go round was March through May 1988 and that was because I was living on Parris Island for 13 weeks. I must admit that I shed a tear when Sam said "sorry we're closed".

Lots of shows about families, most of them lighthearted, life drama with a positive spin or comedies. Today none of the TV/Stream shows seem to portray families, much less together anymore.

Not every single one. But most of them.
