  • Today I just received my Enfield No.4 Mk.1 from Hunter's Lodge Corp.I heard bad things about the company but I like to give people the benefit of the doubt..So I ordered these two items from them and I'm very pleased with what I have...All experiences might not be the same as mine but for me I'm pleased with what I paid and what I received..

WOW that is an understatement. Yours looked like it was excavated from a prehistoric tar pit. TWH's rifle looks like it was actually maintained somewhat.

WAY better than the one I got from Royal tiger and for 1/3 the price. I will never buy from them again and that's too bad

Thanks for watching my video brother,I got lucky ...With HL there is no guarantee you will get one like mine...
Also you must be VERY patient..One;It's hard to get someone on the phone,If you do ask for James...Two; While prices are good, you get whats off the top of the stack,Which could be like mine or not.Three: Shipping is a little pricey,Four; After ordering, your wait time could be VERY long.... While on the phone with James, ask about other firearms. He might have something you would be interested in..If you look at my other videos you will see I buy from HL. The main reason I buy from HL is Price..Being on a fixed disability income,I don't have a lot of money so I scrap for metal, cans, ect to purchase C&R firearms in order to bring you these videos.RT is out of my price range.. I don't mind them being rusted, broken, missing parts or even the wait because I'm retired and I have the time..I do this as a hobby and I enjoy it..Again thank you for taking the time to watch my video..Feel free to checkout my other videos..And please don't forget to hit the like button👍 and subscribe it should will help me out..🇺🇸
So with that said,Give James a call.

@@thewolfhunter I also bought one of the "100% functional and test fired" lugers from Royal tiger and it's not functional unless you consider one shot at a time 100%. They left a real bad taste in my mouth.

Place of manufacture & date should be stamped on the right side of the wrist band under bolt handle.
    Love an enfield, nice project
    Cheers

I just looked at mine and there is nothing written there. Now on the left side on the side of the receiver it's stamped No.4 Mk.1 and on the same side where the buttstock attaches it stamped 1942 and serial number. The serial number on the receiver matches the number on the barrel.

I’m really happy for you on squiring your first Lee Enfield however I was a little frustrated by your lack of knowledge of the rifle (I am a British person who owns these weapons) again, I’m sorry if I come across too harsh, I just thought you would know more about that particular rifle before you brought it? The safety by the way, you need a ‘Banjo’ washer and safety lever! Hope you manage to source them in the States?

In it you will see five rounds that I've had since the early 90's that some old man gave me when I worked at a gun shop.
He came in one day and said he sold the gun and didn't need the bullets. So i took them and put them in my desk drawer, where they remained until I bought the Iver Johnson.I recently looked those rounds up.They are British and were given to the Hong Kong police. Those round go for $4.95 a round.
Needles to say I won't be shooting them.
Finding live ammunition or brass might be pricey..But I keep looking.
