Assalamualaikum shiekh, i want to ask, is it allowed to use a cow for aqeeqah? And if allowed, how many child for 1 cow?
1 life for 1 soul. For boy either 2 cows or 2 goats & for girl either 1 cow or 1 goat.

@Nakib Khan It’s the ceremony that Muslims do one week after a child is born
The aqeeqah its slaughtering of a goat or lamb to thank Allah for giving you a child like the shaikh said it can be done in 7 days , 14 , 21 or 28 etc Depend upon your financial means inshAllah. It's a blessing to be able to do it and really important in a child life. Also if you revert to Islam and can afford it do it for yourself.
Aqiqah is nothing. You can slaughter animal as thanks to Allah, including on the occasion when a child is born. That's all there is to it.
I have 4 sons the first 2 I did the Aqika for the 2 younger ones twins I didn't. Why because when they were born I was not happy about it. Why because it was because of there birth I could not buy a house and also I lost wealth/opportunity to make wealth because of it. Will I do there Aqika now if Allah grants me what I want. If not then I probably won't do it.
Children are a Gift as well as a Test from Allah.
Dont say that its ' becos of them'
You might have had a plan. But Allah has a different plan for you.
So pray to Allah and it might be that Allah will bless you thru your sons.
@@logicalthinker483 I find thatnhard to believe to be honest. Yes I had a plan and Allah didn't allow it to go ahead. Now I struggle living day to day and always unhappy. Children do not bring wealth.
You doubting the will of Allah will cause you to overthink a lot . It’s okay to worry as a human but have faith in Allah’s plan for he is the best of planners .

Stop this kufr talk. Don't be ungrateful for what Allah has given you. If you can afford to do aqiqah you should do it. This will increase blessings for you and your children. Who are you to put conditions on Allah? Allah puts conditions on us
We hear and we obey. Also how can you be unhappy with the children Allah gave you because you lost some superficial material worldly wealth that isn't going to last and was never guaranteed in the first place. This is kufr and ungratefulness. Astaghfirullah
