This car is an important car. One of the rare survivors, chassis number 0007, the car Phil Hill drove at Monza fro the 1960 Italian GP, he won the race in this car.
Extremely impressive. I love when a driver is so good with shifts that when approaching a corner at the top of revs, rather than being lazy and just hanging on to the gear, you get to hear an upshift, a brief acceleration, then a nice quick downshift (1:41). Glorious machine and fantastic driving!!
No one should forget this: this V6 is the child of Ferrari's charismatic (and tragically dead) son!! Glad to listen to this engine and see it running well! Ah, the melodies!!!!
What a jewel! And the sound.... don't get me started on the sound! I think I finally found a way to retaliate against my noisy upstairs neighbor haha. I just found your channel today and I'm in love with it.
+tristancauvin Hehe yes our channel can be very good for that ;) Thank you so much! We're glad you enjoy our content, very nice to hear! If you're interested, pay us a visit on Facebook and Twitter if you have accounts on those platforms, I'm 100% sure you'll like it :)
Hehe, yea I thought that might have been the case ;) Which is awesome! Thanks :) We were pretty stunned when we saw Petrolicious shared one of our posts, felt like a life goal was accomplished!
+Peter Pretorius A mighty sound indeed! I wonder what it's like to drive a car like this, I really do! Maybe it's kind of fun as well because there isn't too much power but they grip isn't too good either so maybe you can throw it around a bit and have a lot of fun! On the other hand, I guess you have to be kind of strong to keep this car under control for 30 minutes straight!
+HistoricRacingHD Strongly spupport your opinion. You need a lot of strength in your arms and a lot of experience as well. Tony is not only an excellent music manager. He is a very expierenced race car driver as well.
i think there should be a historic racing season for these cars. historic f1 is mostly the cars from the 70's 80's and some from the mid 60's, i think there should be a racing series dedicated to cars pre 1960 and then pre 1966 for those mid engine cars of the early 60's. and have them do all of the historic tracks like spa, the old monaco circuit nurburgring etc...
+Adam Othman There actually is a Historic Racing Season for cars like this! It's called the Historic Grand Prix Association and in it are all F1 cars from the 60s! I don't know on which circuits they race but I do know they go to Spa, Zandvoort, Goodwood and Nüburgring!
+Adam Othman Oh well in that case I don't entirely understand what you meant. They do work with points and it kind of is a full season with qualy and races and everything :)
The 1966-68 Tasman T-246s and the F-2 166 Dinos had almost 10 years of development... SOME were three valve like the sainted 330P4...and were 120 degree engines... Poor Banders might be alive today, IF the Old Man had not insisted on the T-312s at Monaco. He really WAS his own worst enemy..... Surtees notwithstanding...
+Philippe Vercruyssen We're from Belgium :) Flanders to be specific. Francorchamps is basically our go to place for filming although we try to do new circuits every year!

+FormulaKimball Very true! Means he's not holding back that Ferrari in the slightest bit. Thanks for your comment! Glad to year you enjoyed the vid :)
Wow. Just wow.
+AaronArmstrong030792 Both us, and Tony Smith (owner & driver) are happy to hear this ;)

Vittorio Jano - Lancia D50
@@DL-ls5sy The D50 had a V8 and was indeed designed by Vittorio Jano!

Try Nick Masons 1.5 Liter V-16.....

Your brains run out your ears!
Intoxicatingly addictive sound!!!
Now that's a real F1 car, nowadays F1 lacks a lot compared to what the monsters of the past have that makes me love them.
Holy christ, what a hell of a sound...It´s not easy to drive such a car with that speed. Thanks for uploading.

***** yeah isn't that the association is the video above? and isn't that event spa 6 hours? thats not really what i had in mind if so.

Amazing !
The same engine as dino V6, Fiat Dino and Lancia Stratos?
Yes, and Ferrari 246 Dino if I'm not mistaking. Not the F1, the sport car
The crown jewel of ferrari v6 engines
The 1966-68 Tasman T-246s and the F-2 166 Dinos had almost 10 years of development...

Surtees notwithstanding...
Thanks now I need new headphones.
could be worse
I need a change in underpants
Wasn't this one at Zandvoort aswell?
+GuitarPlayer1244 It sure was! They were also present at the AVD Oldtimer Grand Prix :)
+HistoricRacingHD It is an awsome car indeed !
I like it, but I suppose if current F1 sounded as this, people would complain...
Absolutely not, these things make the ground shake, todays engines not so much
I would complain.
I would complain the people complaining about it!
That start up rivals the 917...with half the cylinders 😮
Ferrari somehow made a V12 with only 6 cylinders😂
Where are you from guys ? Most of your videos are shot in Francorchamps ;-)
+Philippe Vercruyssen We're from Belgium :) Flanders to be specific. Francorchamps is basically our go to place for filming although we try to do new circuits every year!
Brussels here ;-)
We live near Leuven :)
That's a small batery.
