I always have atheist questions popping up into my head but then I see so many blessing of Allah and pray to him to guide me back to the truth which I know deep inside me is the TRUTH. I somehow then get closed minded and go back to thinking about the atheist questions which bug me. These videos help me bring my faith back. In the morning I wake up and my mind goes blank and then I wonder why are we here and all the atheist questions come back. Religion or God cannot be the foundation of our morality because religion and God is a very subjective controversial topic. All the religions are fundamentally contradicting each other and there is not even standard definition of God. Everyone defines their God in their own ways as per their own opinions. Morality should not be based on contradicting, controversial, and arbitrary entity based on fantasy like religion and God. Morality be should be based on reality, rationality, wellbeing of sentient creatures, and minimization of unnecessary harm. As per the scriptures Abrahamic religious Gods: Jesus, Allah, and Yahweh are moral monsters because they ordered to genocide, rap and kill innocent children, own slaves, sacrify children for Gods. So, to call God is love, God is good is just like to call Heatler is love, Heatler is good. So, it is not logical at all to say religion or God is necessary morality.
If you think you cannot be a moral person without religion or God, it implies that you don't have your own inherent moral intuition like empathy and you prove yourself that you are inherently immoral person. If you are moral person only because of your religion or fear of God, you prove yourself that you are psychopath who lacks empathy and you deserve to be locked up because psychopaths are too dangerous to the society. Almost all the religions are morally bankrupt belief systems which not only compromise our moral intuition, but also create lots of loopholes. For example, if a rapist, who rapped and murdered millions of people in his whole life, believes in Jesus at the end, he will be saved and get a free ticket for heaven according to the Bible. Similar types of loopholes exist in almost all of the religions and almost all the religions have the history of blood bath, genocide, and raps in the name of Gods or religions. This is because religions or scriptures do not prevent people from committing heinous crimes but it teaches how to carry out heinous crimes like raps, murder, massacre, and genocide in such a way so that they will feel proud instead of guilty. Numerous research data and courts records show that the popes, priests, pastors, and gurus were the top most dangerous rapists, child molester and sex offender on earth. So, religion or God is not necessary at all for morality and better society. We can live happy, moral, productive lives without such belief, and we can do it better.

It is the awe that who put those properties in them, who arrange the calcium's electrons and protons in such a way that make it hard. Isn't it a miracle the existance of various elements like Iron, Gold, Carbon, all have vital role inside us and in this universe. Certainly they couldn't be just with their own.
2) Mud is also accumulation of various raw marterial, monerals, elements like : Iron, Oxides of Nitrogen, Phosphorua, Carbon, Gold, Copper, Nikel etc. They never build a Tajmahal with their own though 🙂

It’s weird, that most people these days are using science as a tool to decide whether some believes are real or not, and as far as I have seen, using science, these people have rejected every single believe ever existed. Somethings, can’t be proof by science, but only by human intuition and senses.
For example a person looks at the mass sufferings and violence in this world, and tries to find answer in science. Will it help ? No! Science can’t differentiate between Goods and Bads, so science can’t answer the moral thinking of a human, it’s impossible. This is where Spirituality comes in. Like science is the understanding of materialism, spirituality is the understanding of human and universe existence. It answers the daily life questions, issues, satisfies human soul.
There isn’t any scientific proof for Jannah and Jahannam, but as explained in Quran and Sunnah, both places aren’t some alien worlds, but exactly similar to planet earth. The Jahannam is like the planet Venus, with hottest temperature and the Jannah is like untouched earth, with resources available in their purist and finest forms. The question is why we can’t find it ? The answer is that Allah has laid a curtain over them, making them totally unobseravable, and they will only be revealed when the universe will come to an end.
Jahannam and Jannah are the major answer for human existence.
There are certain things can not be proven by science. Since science has not reached that level yet. The sun is revolving round its own axis science know only few years back. Whereas Quran had declared it fouteen hundred years back. Moon got reflected light is known by science may be last century whereas quran said this 1400 years ago!. Likewise whatever said in quran is said by God Himself so all are true. Similarly jannat and jahannam also true but science can not proof that at the moment.! Wait and see all will be proven day by day by science what is in the holy quran!.Almighty Allah knows the past the present and the future! & He is the source of all sciences and things around us.!SubhanAllah.

This is so stupid, of course our morals come from society. We decide what is right or wrong, and our empathy are chemical reactions in the brain. Question: Is murder bad because god decides it is, or does god tell us not too murder because he knows it is bad? If the first is true, then morality is arbitrary and random therefore it has no meaning. If the second is true then we dont need god to decide what is right or wrong.

This makes like zero sense the brain is made of dirt. And dirt can't be evil or good, therefore good comes from god.
That's not how any of that works.
The brains works like a balance except instead of weights we have bio-electronic signals that weight our decisions the way these connections grow is decided on how often they are used and if they do or do not cross other connections, in the end, the brain always decides whatever activates more connections, this is what we call happiness, whatever makes us happier is what we do.
If your father educates you and says something is bad you don't do that because it brings no happiness to be punished.
Evil and Good are concepts that are created through the process we call education or the formation of such neurological links.
Also, why do you need a religion if God created the brain in the first place, are you saying that God made us flawed on purpose so we could suffer to the point our only hope in life is to be close to and obey him, because that is pretty evil. If anything god created our brains to be completely free of religion and morals and just enjoy the moment, but I guess some people get off on mind washing people into a cult, saying you need religion to know what is good for you, manipulation of the masses that what religions is all about.

Our presence in this earth as a Human being is a test for us from God. God declared in the Quran that He would test us with difficulties and also with good fortunes. When we face difficulties, our test is whether we stay patient, we persevere and pray to God for help. We are here on Earth for a reason, to carry out good deeds and worship the creator God. The World is the test centre where we are being examined but the result we will know later. We humans want to see God, yet can not stare at the Sun for more than a few seconds.
And We will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits, but give good tidings to the patient, Who, when disaster strikes them, say, ‘Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.’ - Quran 2:155-156

the essential purpose for which humankind was created is the worship of God. God states that He made this life in order to test man so that every person may be recompensed after death for what he has earned.

A day will come when the whole universe will be destroyed and the dead will be resurrected for judgment by God. This day is the Day of Judgment.

You see some Christians criticize Allah (subhanahu wat'alah) for not loving everyone. They criticize Allah because he does not love the unbelievers (3:32). Now I am not going to bother wasting my time trying to explain or defend this. Because God is fair, how can God love the unbelievers and throw them into eternal fire? That is illogical. How does it make a believer feel that with all the good deeds he has done and all the love that he showed towards God and then finds out that God loves the corrupt people equally? It is not fair. It is illogical.
Us Muslims believe that Allah has put us on earth and made us all Muslims by fitrah (nature). That it is natural for all of us to want to know God. To get to know God. We are born pure. It is like he has put us all on a highway leading to paradise but there are many exits. People unfortunately take those exits despite God warning us not to take them. Therefore, those who turn away from the mercy of God. Reject the love that God wants to give them and has already given them from the start. Therefore, God does not love them anymore. They do not deserve to be loved.

If a man commits zina and haram things, and as a punishment, he gets an immoral son who also commits zina, then the father won't consider his son as punishment but if he gets an immoral daughter who would do the same, he will think that because he was a bad person, he got such type of daughter. Men logic doesn't make sense here.
He can accept his father, brother or son as a "zaani" and it's only a big deal when it comes to mother, sister or daughter. I mean sins are sins, what does it has to do with gender???

Why is religion crucial even the most uncompromising atheist believes that truthfulness is better than lying right? This terms are not from this world .....
And material world ... does not substantiate their conceptualization or their requisite ;
what does truthfulness mean and what does lying mean ? If we analyzed the depth of the atoms will we be able to monitor concepts like truthfulness or lying ? If you observed the physics of the galaxies or the chemistry of the hormones will we be able to observe faithfulness or betrayal ?
Hence, these concepts are not from this material world. Yet they are real concepts, as a matter of fact . They are the most important things in existence! The value of man measured by his manners ........
Not his material size or the number of his atoms or the level of energy in his cells! The value of man is recognized by how deeply he complies with the divine obligation within himself. There is a good man and evil man , but there is no good mountain and evil mountain , there is no faithful planet and unfaithful planet. It is only man who can uphold values, purpose and meaning. It is only man who can perceive existence.
WHY CAN`T MORALS BE THE RESULTANT OF THE BRAIN OR THE SOCIETY ?
The brain is made up of the very same material components. No matter how complex the brain is , no matter how complex its material components; The sum of all zeroes will always be a zero no matter how many zeroes we add. Since matter knows no good or evil, the brain as well knows no good or evil.
hence, the question that poses itself:
How did the concepts of good and evil settle in the brain ? What prevents the brain from annihilating the whole earth and everything that lives on it ? Why cant the brain think of placing the weakest of mankind in animal cages ? Why can't the brain get rid of all the sick and handicapped so as to leave only they highly efficient like the Nazis project aktion t4 . The material brain does not know if any of the above action is good or bad because the brain is completely indifferent when it comes to morals, since it is made from the very same atoms of the earth. There is no connection, near or near , between morals and the brain. As for the notion that says that societies could be the origin of morality, this idea is so strange because morals are subjective and they concern man as a man ,not the society as a society .
If any of this was true and morals have originated from society, the Nazis would have been right in disposing of all others since this is what the society would want.
Hence, morals are separate from the society, and both the good and the bad societies know what righteousness is and what evil doing is.
Consequently , morals are far beyond the brain and the society
WHAT IS THE RELATION BETWEEN RELIGION AND THE ISSUE OF MORALITY ?
Religion is the only thing that gives a rationalization for manners, the only thing that gives morals their distinctive character. Morals can only be perceived within the framework of divine accountability , and religion is only vivacious entity in the whole existence since it is only guidance we have to the purpose of existence.
Through religion .. we know why are here, what follows death, what existence means and what is needed from us.
Without religion the universe will regress to total blindness and nihilism .

Without the divine revelation we would not know the purpose of existence, the meaning of goodness or its value. Without the divine revelation the whole world would be reduced to nothing but a scary frivolity. Without revelation we would have just been star-stuff as carl sagan says, or `an insect` as Sartre says.
Prophet hood is the only pulse of existence and without it the best invention and the most ecstatic desires we have been real terror. Without religion the whole world is a big waste.
If you ask any atheist existential question:
Why are we here in this life ?
What will happen to us after we die ?
he will either resort to sophistry or he will stay silent.
hence, religion is a natural requirement when it comes to perceiving moral values or realizing the meaning of existence or answering the existential question of:
WHO created this whole existence ?
Who created MAN ?
What is the purpose from our existence and wisdom from actions or beings?

1: Religion has caused a lot of problems, you can worship a certain god and live by their holy book but religon isn’t needed since it just clashes with culture often and gets people confused and to stop worshipping that god

I pray for those born and raised in a household (religion) of evil in pride: hatred, racism, and bigotry which leads to eternal death and damnation. The faith and patience of the righteous in Christ Jesus (our Ark) will judge this evil and adulterous world at the soon coming rapture, our Ark! For "as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark," (Marthew 24: 37, 38) God created all things for His pleasure (Rev 4:11) but after the "Great Reset" in "The Garden of God", Father God our Creator intervened by sending His only begotten Son as propitiation for the sin of the world; to establish His Sabbath forever and our ultimate seventh day of ResT. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His gave only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believes on Him is not condemned: but he that believes not is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that does evil hates the light, neither comes to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." (Jhn 3:16-20) "It is finished"!!! (Jhn 19:30) I pray you hear what the Spirit has is telling the church of Jesus Messiah of Nazareth! Amen

Every other religion claims to be the absolute truth. If you need religion, how do you know if you're in the right one? Being in the Sunni Muslim religion could get you into Jehova's Witness's hell. being a Jehova's Witness could get you into some Muslim's concept of hell.

I'm Muslim so I'm not against this Idea, I even like this series, but I'm not sure if I could use such an explanation for discussing with an atheist. The brain learned through evolution that empathy is healthy to have social relationships. Humans are not the only social species, and our moral intuitions don't need any deities or otherwise divine origin, since being a social species is already enough benefit all on it's own to make that a viable evolutionary strategy.

I get following a certain religion in order to establish a sense or morality in society and onto ourselves, but what happens when we die, and we realize too late that we have either chosen the wrong prophet or religion and we go to hell, or neither religion is true and all that happens to us when die is nothing, and we wouldn’t even know it. I think it’s because of scenarios like these that there are millions of atheists and agnostics on this planet. It’s a scary thought to be living in our daily lives, so the best we can do is just hope that whatever ultimate being or entity that we may or may not face is merciful for our choices.
