Dear Valerie, when I got this book I also was afraid to start it... but I'm sure that when you will start, you will enjoy it. I would recommend to move from month to month (it's start of the year now, and to start the book you can choose one or two flowers to color from January part) and to look carefully at reference pictures when you select your colors (it's good that Leila included names of all flowers)

Wow, Alena - your pages are SO beautiful. They look like oil paintings! I have this book and have started a couple of the pages, but I am not happy with my results.I am going to use your pages as examples to follow. You get such vivid and saturated colors from your Prismacolor pencils!
