I love Glossier, and I'm someone who used to wear Estee Lauder Double Wear in high school. I think the trick to wearing brands like Glossier is realizing that skin has imperfections. If a spot peaks through, nobody is going to care because your skin is going to be healthy looking overall. That's what matters.
For sure. I find it more attractive to see blemishes through a natural beat rather than a full beat. If you can see spots through a full face it's almost like oh they're so bad you can still see them. With skin tint it's like whatever 🤷♂️

@@caitlinhalton3713 the good thing is that they're usually all over the place. I usually save withing 10-30 dollars on each order. If you get items in sets it can also save some money as well.

I do my own nails, too. I use polygel, but I use nail tips instead of the forms that it comes with. They last me about three weeks before I need a fill, then I just do a fill like with acrylics. It’s super easy and a lot less damaging to my nails!

I’m a quality auditor at a cosmetic packaging company and we make some of the packaging for Good lossier! We make the whole assembly for the “Boy Brow”! We mold the bottle, then print onto the bottle, lastly we put a wiper in the bottle(the part at the top that wipes the excess makeup off). We also mold the rod, then our brush room makes the brush and a machine welds the brush into the rod and then at a whole other matching we assemble the rod/brush into the cap. Then they come out back to me for inspection and out the door they go! Before I moved up to quality I almost always ran the machine that assembled the final cap process. I’m sure nobody cares but I love seeing our packaging in videos and had to comment🙂

Sadia Begum use BHA's (I recommend a salicylic chemical exfoliant), vitamin C serum, and retinol (don't use retinol and vitamin c at the same time bc retinol cancels out vitamin c, use one at night and one in the morning or one, one day and the next, the next day)
@@sadiabegum1099 im 23 so i have fairly young skin that went thru puberty so i don't use strong active ingredients yet. I'd reccomend salicylic acid for active pimples, niacinamide and vitamin c for scarring and texture and making sure your skin is well moisturized and spf-ed!

If you like more natural makeup then I'd highly suggest k-beauty brands, like Peripera, The Saem, Missha, Etude House, Clio and etc. Most of the brands advocate the 'dewy/fresh' look since they do skincare first, then makeup. Just a suggestion! C:

I am so glad you pointed out why people dislike glossier so much!! It’s purpose is minimal; to enhance what you already have; to make you feel good in what you’ve got without feeling like you’ve made yourself look totally different! That’s why this stuff is so great I’m so glad I ordered it.

Editing Angelika is something I never knew I needed in my life
I recently tried glossier products for the first time and absolutely loved them! I work in a medical lab where most of us don’t wear makeup at all, so I wouldn’t feel right wearing a full beat in that environment, glossier just gives me a healthy look that still leaves me feeling like I’ve made an effort in the morning ☺️

I looooooove glossier. My skin used to be so dry, but I use the rich moisturizer everyday and LOVE it. The future dew is a dream. The cub eye shadow creased and disappeared on my lids. . .not a fan. Lash slick is AWESOME for my little fine lashes. Never clumps. I love this brand!!

Fab Q try the milk tinted complexion products,they offer a little bit more coverage. I found that full coverage usually just makes your skin problems pop out more because,obviously some makeup gurus refuse to acknowledge that makeup doesn’t look the same in camera vs real life so I guess that’s why we are fooled into thinking that full makeup coverage always looks good.

Spent £100 of my birthday money on glossier after seeing this video and so happy I did!! My skin can't cope with foundation but their skin pigments work so well for me
i use the bourjois healthy mix serum which is literally perfect, half a pump gives the glossier coverage and one full pump gives slightly more coverage and it wears so so well. so inexpensive too

from my experience the skywash in terra is seamless when you apply it the same way as the cloud paints with a larger fluffy shadow brush

If you're looking for a cheaper alternative to the Glossier skin tint, the ordinary serum foundation is really thin and lightweight and is only about £5

If you like glossier skin-tint you might also like the Ordinary's serum foundation! It's just over a fiver and it's BOMB. There's a tiny bit more coverage than the glossier foundation, but I still think it looks super skin-like and it feels really nice on the skin!

The ‘ glossier ‘ look is achievable easily with normal products. It is so easy to sheer out and apply colour cosmetics lightly.

I Stan Glossier. Love everything I’ve ever tried from them with the exception of the matte liquid eyelid color things. The skin tint and concealer are AMAZING and the mascara is my absolute favorite ever.

ive been hesitant to try glossier because i ordered a lip product from them and it came broken and i had really bad costumer service. But i think i am going to try them again and try to find dupes and such. something you said in this video resonates with me because i feel like i hate the way i look with make up on and my skin is oily so within the hour of putting it on its melting and moving places and you can never just do cover up it always has to be a whole routine. so thats what i think is awesome about glossier is that its so natural looking
