The hotel where I always stay is about a 5 minute walk from Namdaemun Market. Every year we buy hotteok & dumplings/mandu. I would love to try the boribap & chicken soup next time. I went to a boribap restaurant in Gangnam about 7 years ago called April Bori. It's time to try it again at Namdaemun Market.
Thank you so much for the great food tour. I can’t wait to go to Korea and try all the delicious traditional food you have introduced to us. My mouth is watering.
Yay!! I was hoping for a market street food video. Everything looks so gooood!!! When I go to Korea I will stuff myself in mandu and hotteok thanks to you two. Keep up the amazing work! Love you both ❤
Each video you two post makes me want to visit Korea again. The longest visit was like 12hrs due to layover, but I made the most of it. 😅 I’ll have to make a legit vacation to Korea one day.
when i visited, i loved the Namdaemun market so much, i went there every day!! and still did not see the places you showed - more reason to come back to beautiful Seoul!! thank you for bringing memories :))
My boyfriend and I are going to Korea for two week at the end of December and I'm watching all your videos to try plan all the foods we're going to try!! Really excited for the dumplings!!
Great work! Your English is always really good, but one thing to note: “I can’t stand the smell” is actually a negative thing to say. “I can’t stand it anymore” or “the smell is driving me crazy” would be better, and I understand it’s a subtle difference. “Smell” is weird word which is either generally neutral or bad. Love your videos, keep them coming!
Hi Claire and Aaron. Your English is really good with cute descriptions. I think you guys are so kind looking and very nice couple. I am enjoying your videos in San Diego.
I'm in love w Seoul Korea. Our daughter wants to move there and finish her studies in Graphic Design. I don't want her too but I can not hold her. She loves and makes us Korean food she us even teaching herself to speak read and write Korean. She lives KPop.💖💖💖🤣🤣🤣loved thus segment of NomNom Market
I love you both so much I wish I could live with me lol I love ur cooking u both are s great insperation to me keep giving us great recipes thnk you so much!, Claire? Keep washing those dishes we luv you!!
I was going to go to Seoul April 2020 and I was supposed to stay in 남대문. 너무 슬퍼요 😢 Do they have many vegetarian dishes? It’s nice to hear u speak Korean Aaron!
Oddly enough... I find when Claire and Aarón put large mouthfuls of food in their mouth really great¡ I almost bet to myself, "will they succeed with such a large morsel?" Yes... they do!
You are excellent hosts! I always enjoy your videos. :o) The market looks like so much fun to visit. It's kind of like a theme park; there's so much to see you could never experience it all in a single visit.
Hi Aaron n Claire. I always watch your post on youtube every time you posted. I tried lots of your cooking. I sometime feel very envy with Claire who's very lucky can try her husband cooking. Well.. right now I have some question not about your cooking but about eating ettiquettes or manners. As Korean, what is the eating ettiquettes when we order food in a restaurant? Should we order food for each person or do we allow to share? After finish eating, if there is some leftover, can we takeaway? As you'd been living in Australia, you know you can takeaway your leftover home. Im in New Zealand almost the same as Australia. The reason why I asked this because I saw big portion of food. Im just worry if I cant finish it all. I wish your reply and I thank you for your reply in advance.
I WANNA GO THERE! Sadly my age combined with numerous health issues preclude my being able to withstand flights exceeding 12 hours (my finances will never be able to afford 1st class) in "economy". Our days of foreign travel may be over, but to travel there in my imagination is a pretty good substitute. THANK YOU!
How can she eat without someone yelling "Claire!"? Just for the video, they should convince the aunties in the food stall to do it, it would be really funny!
I live watching Korean food..and the inner me wants to try it so bad! Then my brain and stomach warns me.. whether i will be able to.handle that heat and spiciness!
We saw several things in this video that were not spicy, I think. That could as well have been my grandmother's chicken soup, and the hoetteok just had vegetables and noodles inside. I think you'll be FINE.
Aaron and Claire yes I have listened to a lot of Koreans speaking English and it’s really cute... A reason why I’m so intrested in Koreans is because of their music, food, history etc. In fact I even wanted to go to Korea but instead went to Japan because of my parents I’ve only been at Incheon International Airport stopping by to get on another plane to fly to another place I even want to move to Korea😁
When i travel to countries where i dont speak the language, i have a small laminated sign with me that says i have a rasphberry allergy and dont speak the language. In the language of the country I am visiting. It always works.

You guys are a really wholesome couple!!
Really like your funny side of you both!!
For the chicken soup, when you say that the chicken is old, do you mean that the chicken was killed when it was older or that the meat was aged?
Kitten Yzma is my patronus Oh! It can be confusing! 🤣🤣 I meant the chicken was killed when it was older 😊
@@AaronandClaire Thank-you for clearing up my confusion 😄
