Beautiful church--the tilework and ironwork are amazing...when you said that Mt Ararat was part of Armenia that again makes me thing that Mary the Mother must have had some Armenian in her background,,,Mt Ararat held Noah;s Ark to save the world and Mother Mary is the New Arc of the Covenant holding Jesus to Save the world...there is a symetry to the bible and prophets that is almost mathematical in its ability to produce patterns...I believe that Mary must have had Armenian ancestors....dts/usa
Also, if James the Greater was a cousin of Jesus, he may have also had Armenian Ancestory, which would explain why James would have been Bishop of Jerusalem and why the Armenians still hold such a following for him today (naming their main church after him)...he is obviously a huge presence for their religious following...and James the Great is really just a footnote out in the rest of the world (he is not considered to be a Saint Paul or Saint Peter in the Roman Catholic church--important, but not a huge presence today)...dts/usa
