Hey Golfers, great to have you here! Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
My golf career is marked by a trajectory from a skilled amateur to a seasoned professional, competing on the LPGA/SYMETRA Tour. During my amateur days, I attended IMG Academies, training under the close guidance of the world's best Leadbetter instructors. I continued to thrive while playing Division 1 golf at the University of Central Florida, holding the captain's title throughout my senior year. After finishing my college career, I went straight to LPGA Q-school, where I secured my tour card for the LPGA/SYMETRA Tour. During my rookie year, I joined the cast of the popular Golf Channel Show "Big Break," showcasing my competitive skills on national television. During my professional playing career, I was always drawn toward the technical intricacies of the golf swing, often helping my friends and fellow players improve their swings.
Now let me help you start playing the BEST GOLF OF YOUR LIFE!

I saved this video. It’s so fundamental! Swaying is so intuitively natural that it’s hard to fix. I was just watching ESPN and they had an overhead camera of players warming up on the range at the PGA and after watching Carolin’s videos and shorts I noticed that the pros really don’t move their heads or rotate their hips that much. It looks so much quieter and compact than you’d expect

Yep, its all about efficiency and not losing energy in excess movement!

@@coachcarolin coach, I’m really enjoying your videos. I think you do a good job of breaking down specific fundamentals that somehow we need to integrate into the swing in real time. You made a point that it doesn’t happen overnight and that is very true!

In other words I think you have to do a lot of “hallway drills” to get the right feelings and then take it slow until it all gets comfortable

What an EXCELLENT... explanation...Of why sometimes i chunk early...i've been focused recently on good strong base with no up/down wabbling..but that left leg plugged to the wall is a GREAAAT explanation.. Thanks Coach!

Awsome video. Your video instruction worked for me. I have a tendency to sway which causes me to hit the golf ball fat, thin, etc. However, practicing your drill I found to strike the golf ball at the same spot most every time. Great job!

Love these simple tips of yours. Started seeing them on Facebook and delighted you have moved to RUclips. This drill felt like I was practicing too much weight on my front foot to me. Is it still 60/40 for irons and opposite for woods can I ask? You did a similar short version keeping hips still and rotating which I really clicked with. Thats the thing with golf, there are so many ways to fix a problem and different things 'click' with different people. Your simple approach is awesome, and I love the finger wag and big smile lol

sorry am new to golf. i dont understand. if u resist the left leg/femur area, how does the pelvis turn. it will only be the shoulder who can tilt/turn. pls advise.

Hey and welcome to GOLF!!! So glad you are here! So the shoulders turn 90 degrees in the backswing, the hips 45 degrees and the knees 22.5, so the amount of turn halfs itself from top to bottom. This way there is tension build up in the backswing which allows us to act like a rubber band in the downswing and generate speed and momentum into the ball! Hope this was helpful!
