Scared Scott is the unwitting creator of the "The Scared Scouts". His role was accidental and simply occurred by writing his adventures and fears about a place called "The Outside" in a journal he titled "Scared Scott's Guide, to The Outside". Years later, after his disappearance, Ralf and his friends discover the tattered old book which they could barely make out the title. To their eyes, it looked as if to say "Scared Scouts..." and thus became the birth of "The White Knight" and he and his friends journeys back and forth into "The Outside".
